Join this yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India. If you like to have a real ashram experience, Swami Samarpan Ashram is the perfect partner to have it. Surrounded by forests and streams, it is truly a quiet and peaceful haven, outside the busy and noisy streets of India. The training program aims to produce qualified and inspiring yoga teachers and practitioners who will be able to draw their own practice and personal discipline in imparting the yoga experience to others.
If you would like to have a real ashram experience, this is definitely the place to be. The Swami Samarpan Ashram has eight rooms that can accommodate up to 16 persons. Basically, it includes shared rooms with two people per lodging.
The ashram is growing its own garden with bananas, mangoes, lemons, rudraksha trees, and other vegetables. It is gifted with nature, making your sessions one with the universe and making you forget about your problems in the world.
Moreover, ashram is more of a home that embodies a simple living where one can develop a positive attitude and an understanding of selfless service. It is a place of inspiration because it does not teach or preach; it exhibits, and you imbibe what is applicable to you.
Ashram life does not require renunciation or rejection of the world. Rather, its goal is to change one’s perspective on everyday life. It is recommended that you stay in the Swami Samarpan Ashram for at least 20 days in a year to relax, unwind, and reestablish a more wholesome and balanced perspective in life.
Having a 200-hour training would be a long ride. There are a lot of courses prepared for you as you enter this magical yoga program. A high degree of self-motivation is necessary for all aspects of the course. A basic knowledge of yoga postures and philosophy is helpful but not really essential. The sincere desire to learn and openness to the teachings of yoga are more important.
The yoga teacher training will be based on the five points of yoga, which can be understood as the practical application of the traditional four paths of yoga. There will be an intensive daily schedule that includes two meditation sessions, two yoga classes, two lectures, and one hour of service to the ashram community every day.
The practice, and most especially, the teaching of yoga, demands an utmost degree of self-discipline and purity. To ensure the success of the program, participants are required to attend all spiritual activities, meditation sessions, lectures, and asana classes.
Asana will be a daily teaching practice class devoted to educate on how to divulge asana or yoga posture and pranayama or control of breath. Practicing asana every day can give you the opportunity to practice the perfect posture and thus will help you build a good habit.
The daily in-depth practice with individual corrections covers sun salutation, 12 basic yoga postures, 100 Asana variations (from intermediate level to advanced), postural alignment, deep relaxation with autosuggestion, a release of blocked energy, and training sessions for all age groups.
Because with daily chanting, you develop a strong feeling of devotion and a very pure vibration. In devotional chanting, correct pronunciation, devotional attitude, and awareness of meaning are all equally important.
Hatha yoga involves a control-over-the-body-to-control-over-the-mind kind of meditation.
Topics like these will be imparted:
