Far away from touristy crowds, SuzyYoga gives you the opportunity to take part in a trip full of exploration and adventure and to get more in touch with your body and mind. Experience a cruise that combines yoga and navigation.
During this holiday, you will be staying in a double cabin on board. Moreover, full bedding and towels will be provided in the cabin.
The sailboats are monohulls, from 12 to 15 meters, with 4 to 5 cabins (double berths or bunk beds). They are safe, seaworthy and well suited for this type of cruise. Maximum capacity of 6 to 8 participants, depending on the sailboats and the skipper. All sailboats and all participants are insured in the event of accidents and serious damage.
During the cruise, you will stop at different places, unique for their beauty and peaceful atmosphere, to offer you four sessions of yoga. This cruise is for everyone, from beginners to advanced. The itinerary is given as an indication and can be modified according to weather conditions for the comfort and safety of the crew. A circuit that allows you to discover the wilder islands of the small Cyclades up to Amorgos, the island where certain scenes of the film "the Big Blue" were shot.
On Sunday, you will meet others in Paros at 18:00 at the main port of Parikia. Welcome and presentation of the cruise, refueling, storage on board, and dinner at the tavern in the evening. Night on board and departure in the morning for Antiparos. Check out time is the following Sunday at 10:00.

You are part of the crew; everyone has their role to play by participating in maneuvers, navigation, and life on board. No level or skill in sailing is required.
Stages of 3 to 5 hours depending on the distance and the winds with, if the course allows it, a lunch break for lunch and swimming. Your English-speaking skipper, with a great knowledge of the Greek islands, will take you from the small picturesque ports to the welcoming tavern through the most beautiful coves of the Cyclades, with crystal clear waters.
Every day, a yoga session and guided meditation are planned during the cruise. Depending on the daily sailing plan, the lessons will be held in the morning or in the afternoon. Suzanna will take you to the most beautiful places for relaxing yoga sessions combined with stretching and meditation. This way you can enjoy and appreciate the charm and magic of the Cyclades while going deeper into your yoga practice.
Wake up around 07:00, 08:00 for a yoga session, 09:30 for breakfast, shopping, tidying up, and getting ready for navigation. Departure is around 09:00 and 10:00, sailing for 3 to 6 hours to the next island, depending on the distance and the wind. If possible, you stop for a swim and lunch on board. The aim, of course, is to make the thrill of sailing a pleasant experience for everybody, every day. The skipper will be at your complete disposal to help you improve your sailing skills.
In the afternoon, the sailboat will anchor in a traditional Greek harbor or remote bay where you can either discover the local charms or just relax on board the boat and enjoy the beautiful Aegean sea. At the end of the day, you can share your experiences with the rest of the crew while tasting a traditional Greek “Ouzo”.
In the evening you will have dinner in a typical island tavern where you will be introduced to traditional Greek cuisine, or you will cook a meal on board or have a barbeque on the beach. Before nightfall, SuzyYoga will discuss the itinerary of the next day’s voyage.
Suzanna Stok was born and raised in Amsterdam. She started teaching yoga in 2009, combined with sailing in Greece. Currently, she is teaching Hatha, Yin, Yin and Yang, Flow, Restorative yoga, yoga nidra, pilates, and guided meditations at the studios Youcanyoga, Sport City, and Hatha and Mindfulness sessions at the VU University, all in Amsterdam. She also completed a Yin and Hatha/Vinyasa teacher training, and mindfulness teacher training, and received level 1 Physiotherapy ‘Be Activated’ in Edinburgh. With these qualifications, her focus is on deep stretching combined with breathing.
An additional 520 EUR per person will be paid in cash on arrival for a joint kitty that includes all meals and drinks.
With this, you will be served daily delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinners onboard and in taverna. This does not include the drinks in bar.
