Surf n Yoga is the most popular package and is available to anybody. Surfing and Yoga are the perfect pair as one compliments the other. Surf in the morning and stretch it out in the evening with this all in one package. The qualified surf coaches and certified yoga teachers are here to maximize your experience, potential, ability, and skills by sharing their passions with you!
You'll stay in The Saltwater or SurfSup private room, located on the upper level of Surf N Stay New Zealand's two-storied houses, allowing for more privacy and a little escape from the main hostel area downstairs. The room has a comfortable queen sized bed and is right across the hall from a shared bathroom. Couples who book this package will also have access to the upstairs facilities, kitchen and living area.
Start your morning in the ocean, surfing with the highly recommended coaches, who will ensure you
catch plenty of waves. With their guidance, you will learn proper popup technique, the most efficient and
effective way to paddle, what to look for so you can catch your own waves, as well as safety tips and
surfer’s etiquette to keep yourself and others safe.
Spend an hour each evening with our highly qualified yoga teacher. With over 400 hours of training and
seven years of teaching in multiple surf towns, she has developed a yoga class specifically for fellow surfers. Here, you will learn several yoga flows designed to stretch and strengthen your surf muscles with poses that you can use well after your adventure with the team. These poses will help you stay in surf shape in between time in
the water. You will also learn proper breathing and alignment techniques, variations of poses as well as
modifications. Each class ends with a short meditation.

The town of Whangamata is sited on the southeast coast of the Coromandel Peninsula, in the North Island of New Zealand.

Get the feeling and understanding of the basic techniques to stand up paddle boarding correctly. Schedule a private lesson with a certified instructor on waves or flat water. The lesson is one hour long and costs 80 NZD.
The winter deal with sea kayaks, single or double, includes map explanation on where to go during your day of exploring. All islands can be seen from the beach. The first island is within a 15-minute paddling distance. Once there, you are free to dive, fish, go to the secluded beach at Clark, and find the secret caves and hidden beaches. The set off is in front of Surf N Stay New Zealand. The trip costs 40 NZD per person, including map explanation, life jacket vests, full-length wetsuits, and free rental time for you not to rush back.
There is no better way to finish up a day than with a yoga session to relax. By the beach, harbor, estuary or park, locations vary according to weather and number of yoginis. Book before you come for 15 NZD per session.

Please book your flight to arrive at Auckland Airport (AKL). Go Kiwi Shuttles will pick you up from Auckland City at the price of 94 NZD or from the Airport (Domestic or International) and drop you off at the door of the surf lodge.
There are buses from Auckland Airport (AKL) to the two main towns neighboring Whangamata, namely Tairua and Waihi.
There are a few options here. Surf to Sand Shuttle can be booked for you to be picked up from the info site at Waihi, you can ask for details to make a pre-booking. Check InterCity New Zealand’s national network for bus schedules and bookings. Otherwise, you make contact with Go Kiwi to get to Whangamata from other cities and towns. Connections with other bus companies like Go Stray and The Kiwi Explorer will be heading to one of the neighboring towns. Surf N Stay New Zealand will arrange the transfer van for you.
