Visiting Croatia is a life-changing experience. Blessed with breathtaking scenery and incredible history, delicious traditional foods and wines, sprawling vineyards, wild beaches, dramatic mountain ranges, and thousand-plus islands, this is a country so divine that it has been named one of the best travel destinations in the world! On this trip, you will experience the best of land and sea. You will explore the Southernmost point of Croatia, the ancient Roman city of Dubrovnik and its surrounding areas, as well as nearby country, Montenegro, and its quaint villages and beautiful beaches. While at sea, you will explore some of Croatia’s most beautiful islands as you island hop, sailing by Catamaran through the Adriatic Sea. You begin the journey in the ancient walled city of Dubrovnik.

Includes a private room with one double bed. Sea view rooms offer a lovely panorama view over the harbor and the bay of Gruz. Rooms have one double bed are equipped with a private bathroom with hairdryer and tub, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar on request, safety deposit box, A/C, WIFI, phone, LCD TV. Includes buffet breakfast daily.

Day 1, September 12

Upon your arrival in Croatia, SUP YO Retreats will transfer you to your hotel in Dubrovnik. After you get settled in and relaxed, get ready for a welcome dinner with your guides and an introduction to the week's itinerary.

Day 2, September 13

You will avoid the heat of the day by getting up early to take a hike up Srđ Mountain - a relatively easy hike with a rewarding bird’s eye view of Dubrovnik! You will take time to absorb the view and take pictures before you descend the mountain for a short transfer to Komolac Harbor where the catamaran will be ready for boarding at 2 p.m.

You will sail out towards Šipan Island and the skipper will choose a good place to stop for a swim somewhere along the way. Once on Šipan, enjoy a walk in the village and have dinner in one of Šipan’s exquisite restaurants which the guide or skipper will be happy to recommend and reserve for you.

Day 3, September 14

Today you sail out towards Mljet Island and National Park which consists of two turquoise saltwater lakes surrounded by a lush, green forest. To see most of what the national park has to offer, you will cycle around the lakes and stop for swimming along the way.

You have lunch on the island and in the late afternoon, you sail towards the Pelješac Peninsula. The catamaran will dock or anchor in Žuljana Bay – just in time for a traditional Croatian dinner! Choose from a SUP Yoga class or a sunset paddle while dinner is being prepared for you on the boat.

Day 4, September 15

Rise and shine early for a SUP yoga class in a beautiful and picturesque bay nearby and get ready for a day of exploring the Pelješac Peninsula - one of the most famous winemaking, oyster farming and salt-producing regions in Croatia. You sail towards Ston – an old town surrounded by the world-famous Ston Wall.

You disembark just short of Ston to pick up your bikes and take an easy 3-kilometer cycle to Ston. You will pass through some impressive scenery, salt plains, and a breathtaking view of the famous wall. Once in Ston, take time to explore this charming town before returning to the boat and sailing to Šipan once again.

Day 5, September 16

On your last day on the boat, you will be sailing the Elaphiti Islands and stopping on the amazing white beach of Lopud Island for a rise and shine SUP yoga class. Following the class, you will get dropped off on one end of Koločep Island and make your way to the other side through tiny picturesque alleys - characteristic of Croatian island villages.

Once on the other side, you will stop for lunch in one of the best and most authentic fish restaurants in the area. After lunch, the boat will pick you up right in front of the restaurant to take you to the final hidden gem on this boat trip, the blue cave of Koločep! Disembark back in Komolac at 4 p.m. and get transferred to your Dubrovnik hotel and enjoy dinner on your own this evening.

Day 6, September 17

Today is a day for exploring nearby Montenegro and two of its famous, but very different cities. Be ready for a long and incredibly scenic drive as you drive along the mountainous coast overlooking the Bay of Kotor.

Explore the old town of Kotor and have lunch before going for a shorter drive towards Budva. Enjoy the change of scenery in this bustling modern city and enjoy some beach time with a swim and/or SUP yoga class before heading back to Dubrovnik.

Day 7, September 18

Get ready for a day all about Dubrovnik – taking it in by sea and by land. First, you will take a sea kayaking tour which will take you all around the historic city walls, followed by a guided tour of the old town itself. After lunch, get refreshed back at the hotel and get ready for a farewell dinner – a dinner to reflect on all of the adventures of the past week.

Day 8, September 19

Enjoy one last breakfast and say your goodbyes to your new friends and this unforgettable country. Until next time! Transfer to the airport in a private coach.

Retreat location

The exciting sailing and yoga holiday takes place in Croatia. Starting from Dubrovnik, you will then visit Šipan Island, Mljet Island, Ston, and Lopud Island before returning to Dubrovnik. You will also have a chance to explore the old town of Kotor and Budva.


Included in the package are eight breakfasts, six lunches, and three dinners.


During your stay at Hotel Lapad, enjoy a breakfast buffet daily including eggs, local cold cuts, fruit, vegetables, yogurt, granola, fresh bread and coffee, and juice. Breakfast is from 06:30 until 10:00.

Onboard the Catamaran, breakfast is prepared every morning by the guide and is served on the deck family style. Breakfast will be served in a rich buffet form with several types of cereal, butter, honey, jam, ham, cheese, eggs, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and milk.

Please book your flight to arrive at Dubrovnik Airport (DBV). Please plan to arrive at Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) before 3 p.m. on September 12, 2020. Depart on September 19, 2020 from Dubrovnik (DBV) anytime.

Private group transfers are included and will be provided for you. Transfers include airport transfers on the start and end date of the trip. All transfers to/from Montenegro are included.
