    Guests are situated in rooms within three semi-attached cottages, according to both preference and practical logistics. Cottage communal areas, including bathrooms, lounges, balconies, terraces, etc. are shared between guests and hosts alike, along with life stories and special moments. A spiritual, "shabby-chic", Dalmatian island farm-cottage ambiance prevails, and the atmosphere here is that of a supportive family of spiritually minded friends.

    Earth and Fire cottage

    This cottage features three single rooms with fans and space heaters, located on the upper floor of the main retreat cottage. Rooms one and three offer a single bed and room two comes complete with a double bed, perfect for individuals who require a larger mattress size. A spacious house bathroom located on the ground floor (up to three guests sharing) is reserved for residential guests only. The ground floor also features the main retreat living and dining area, which is open to all retreat participants until 10 p.m. The enclosed garden, with dining and lounge areas, is located here as well as the outdoor yoga terrace.

    Ether cottage

    These elegant and beautiful, newly-built attic rooms come equipped with private, en-suite bathrooms and en-suite air-conditioning or heating. Room six - "mini suite"- features a double bed, or a convertible single-double bed and an additional single cot when two friends are sharing the space. The "master suite" features two single beds that can be placed side by side for couples when needed.

    Cottage residents share an indoor tea corner and outdoor terrace lounge and have easy access to the indoor yoga loft space with lounge corner and library.

    Booking priority for the master suite is given to friends or couples traveling together, or solo travelers open to sharing with a new retreat mate, while the mini suite may be booked similarly, or as a single for those in need of extra privacy and comfort while on retreat during the yoga B&B events.​

    The mini suite may not be available during co-hosted events with visiting teachers while the master suite is only available for single occupancy booking when all other retreat rooms are fully booked!

    Wind and Air cottage

    This cottage features a romantically-furnished double room that comes complete with an adjacent bathroom, kitchenette and covered terrace with a view to the veggie garden. The cottage has air-conditioning and heating and is ideal for one or two persons. Room four can be fitted with a combination of beds - a beautiful metal-framed double, a double with one twin (or) two restored twin wooden beds. A baby cot fits nicely beside the bed, too, for yogi families traveling with young children.

    Booking priority is generally given to friends, couples or family members traveling together on retreat, but it may also be booked by solo travelers open to sharing with a new retreat mate. The room may also be booked as an individually priced luxury single room with private bathroom for those in need of extra privacy while on retreat.​

    Shared facilities

    In addition to the outdoor yoga terrace and a newly built indoor practice area, other shared facilities include the main living room and indoor dining area, an enclosed garden with outdoor dining area, as well as several other patios, decks, balconies in which guests enjoy socializing in with new retreat friends. Each cottage also features a tea-making corner, where you can prepare fresh herbal infusions using freshly picked ingredients from the garden.

    Guests may borrow inspiring books, magazines, music, and DVDs from the retreat library provided they are treated with care, and washing machines are available on a pay-per-load basis.

    Though "switching off" is encouraged as much as possible during retreat time, there is also limited Wi-Fi access available in some areas of the retreat property. Please inquire upon booking if you are in need of internet access during your stay.

    Suncokret is hosting a festival of co-hosted special events with visiting teachers this summer from June, 11 to September, 23.

    What is the Suncokret Integrated Holistic Yoga Lifestyle Program?

    The Integrated Holistic Yoga Lifestyle Program (IHYLP) will introduce you to various yoga teachings and related body-mind-spirit practices that support your retreat journey and your life on many levels.

    The program was originally conceptualized by retreat co-founder and holistic program director, Evening Marie, who currently leads the five-night yoga B & B program. During this six-night annual summer yoga festival, the IHYLP is further expanded upon by the specialized and inspirational teaching contributions of esteemed co-hosting events teachers that will lead the workshops during the summer retreats.

    The program sessions are generally divided into two parts daily: morning yoga Sadhana and, in summer months, either an afternoon or an evening workshop session that is focused on a particular theme.

    Morning Sadhana

    Sadhana is a daily spiritual practice that includes a balancing blend of techniques to help you tune into yourself, the intentions you have for your life and for the day ahead. Chanting, pranayama, meditation, asanas (postures), and deep relaxation are traditionally included in this process.

    The purpose of Sadhana is to enable you to start your day in a sacred, disciplined, and focused way. These sessions generally last between 90 and 120 minutes during summer events. They will awaken you profoundly; aligning you to your body, mind, and spirit while preparing you to greet life's daily adventures with a sense of peace and clarity.

    Afternoon or evening program

    These enriching, theme-based sessions are offered during co-hosted summer events, and may cover a range of topics related to holistic lifestyle management including yoga, meditation, food preparation, art therapy, dancing, chanting, healing work, etc. Topics are offered according to the weekly theme being presented by the co-hosting teacher, and adjusted according to the level and wishes of the group participants.

    The purpose of these sessions is to highlight foundational yogic wisdom, as well as other holistic spiritual teachings and techniques, that help to systematically balance the body, mind, and spirit in a profound way. These sessions generally last between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the topic being covered.

    Please note that during co-hosted summer events, the morning and afternoon or evening sessions may be divided up according to what is most appropriate for the topic being explored together with the co-hosting teacher.

    All gatherings take place in inspiring and sacred spaces; either on the outdoor terrace, beautiful indoor loft space, or in nature and by the sea, according to the program itinerary, the weather, and other considerations.

    Themes and methods

    Each week, the program interweaves a variety of themes and methods, including (but not limited to):

    • Satsang (open discussion with the teacher on a particular topic)
    • Overview and practice of the eight limbs of yoga: guidelines for yogic living (yama and niyama), science of breath control (pranayama), postures (asana), withdrawal of senses (pratyahara), concentration (dharana), meditation (dhyana), and integration (samadhi)
    • Introduction to various yoga styles and teachings
    • Mindfulness practices
    • Cosmic anatomy (chakras and sheaths of being)
    • Practice in Kriya, mudra, mantra, and meditation
    • Ayurveda and understanding doshas and gunas
    • Healing techniques from yoga therapy, Reiki, and other spiritual practices
    • Self-reflection through discussion, journaling, and silent reflection
    • Creative explorations for personal development, including photography, art therapy, voice-work, bodywork, dance, etc.
    • Holistic lifestyle and spiritual or personal life coaching

    Sample six-night summer IHYLP schedule

    Sunday evening

    On Sunday, you will have a 60-minute welcome circle with program introduction.

    Monday - Friday

    Monday to Thursday you will enjoy one and a half to two hours daily of morning yoga Sadhana at the retreat center. On Friday morning you will enjoy a 90-minute yoga safari Sadhana session in a surprise location. Monday and Wednesday you will have an evening program at the retreat, while Tuesday and Thursday you will participate in an afternoon program by the sea.

    Saturday morning

    Saturday you will attend a 60-minute closing circle with program conclusion and reflection.

    In total, there are between 12 and 15 dedicated program hours, that will be covered during the six-night summer event weeks, though timing and location may slightly vary according to the event theme being conducted within any given week.

    Event 1 - Divine yoga - evoking your divine nature, with Daniela Dippong and Evening-Marie - June 11 -17, 2017

    During this yoga retreat week, you will connect to one goddess every day, according to the power she represents, and discover her strength, her beauty, and evoke this power inside of you again. You will connect to your feminine nature, and reconnect to nature in the wonderful surroundings of the magical Island of Hvar and the peaceful calm found at Suncokret Retreat.

    The program involves an integrated Sadhana practice that targets each goddess and her counterpart god, through a series of poses and techniques, balancing the chakras and delivering a balancing effect of the goddess within.

    Event 2 - Inner beauty blossoming - a yoga and nature summer solstice celebration, with Daniela Dippong and Evening-Marie - June 18-24, 2017

    This yoga week is dedicated to nature and to reestablishing the connection you have lost as the result of your modern city lifestyle; and to your own true blossoming beauty that will be perfectly celebrated at this most abundant, life-force energy-filled, and flourishing time of the year. During your daily yoga Sadhana practice, you worship your body, your whole being, while doing yoga in nature, on the beautiful yoga terrace surrounded by natural beauty at the retreat, or during the afternoon sessions by the beach or in the forest.

    With grounding asanas, you will feel your bodies and their needs, and through stimulating pranayama you will revitalize your bodies with the fresh air of the Island of Hvar. And you shall open up your mind again through dedicated meditations held by the sea, for a lifestyle you wish to experience for yourselves back home.

    Event 3 - Yoga and creativity - unleash your creative potential with Daniela Dippong and Evening-Marie - June 25-July, 1, 2017

    Creativity is the greatest gift you have and it can unfold in many beautiful ways. As children you are naturally creative, you don`t use your head but rather your heart to perceive and interact with life. As adults, you mostly loose that gift, as you try to assess situations first with your head and only after you let your heart speak, if at all. It is as if you have lost the connection to who you really are, to your feelings, and to your spiritual source.

    During this event week, you will have the chance to reconnect to your creative power, to your intuition, to the natural flow of life through an inspiring set of yoga, meditation, and pranayama practices, a powerful optional Reiki attunement process, and dedicated creativity workshop sessions. You shall reconnect to your inner voice and to your inner vision, to colors, shapes, and to the source of all creative power; to your soul.

    The inner child within you will become more and more courageous, more and more open towards all the beautiful possibilities to express itself freely and fully again.     Three weeks of integrated holistic yoga with a focus on Ayurvedic wisdom, holistic wellness, and self-care practices with Bahareh Hosseini

    Event 4 - Ayurvedic yoga, on the mat - a holistic wellness retreat, with Bahareh Hosseini - July 9-15, 2017

    You may have noticed that in most schools of yoga asana, such as Sivananda, Ashtanga, Bikram, and in yoga classes world wide, the practitioners follow a prescribed set of sequences. Though this may be beneficial in some cases, unfortunately your individual needs are left out. Ayurveda, yoga’s sister science and India’s traditional medicine, teaches you the awareness that, although you have similarities, you are all different and unique and your yoga asana practice should reflect that.

    This includes seasonal and daily variances that help ensure good health and longevity. Such a personalized approach to yoga asana will be offered throughout the event, based on the teachings of Wise Earth Ayurveda, through an introductory approach to Ayurveda and balanced living.

    Event 5 - Embodied wellness, on and off the mat - a physical and psychospiritual yoga and Ayurveda immersion retreat with Bahareh Hosseini, July 16-22, 2017

    Apply Ayurvedic wisdom to enhance your living yoga experience, both on and off the mat! You automatically assume that by engaging in yoga asanas and practices such as pranayama, you are therapeutic and improving your health and well-being, but it isn’t often the case without individual adjustments that suit your unique circumstances and constitution.

    Cyclical and individual variances (seasonal, daily, etc.) are important to take into account, and an understanding of Ayurveda - yoga's sister science - and your own Ayurvedic dosha is key in customizing your practices, those that support both your physical and psycho-spiritual well-being. You will also cover psychological aspects of your body constitutions including relationships and work. In the dosha body type discussion you will not only cover physical health, but also your psycho-spiritual types.

    Knowing all these is a big step in bringing clarity to ease and support decision-making around important matters in your lives, such as relationships and careers that suit you best.     Event 6 - Moon magic, practices that reconnect you to your feminine power - a women's wellness retreat with Bahareh Hosseini - July 23-29, 2017

    In this wholesome retreat week, Join Bahareh for self-care, rejuvenation, nutrition, and adventure. Together, you will explore practices that reconnect you as women to your feminine power, Shakti, and your intimate connection with the moon. Shakti heals and transforms, it creates. Without this powerful force in balance, women may experience serious imbalances.

During this event, you will explore intensive Zhineng Qigong, Yin yoga, and meditation practices in this magical island environment to allow a deeper homecoming experience to arise.

    Event 9 - "Relax and re-sparkle" - a yoga and life coaching retreat with Charlotte Hunt - August 27 - September 2nd, 2017

    The Relax and re-sparkle retreat is back for the second year at Suncockret! Offering a unique holistic yogic experience, this program is led by Charlotte, a certified personal development life coach and Hatha yoga instructor. Your daily yoga practices will explore your physical bodies, how tension and stress manifests. You will learn how you can use asana, and different types of meditation, to help release stress held within the body and mind.

    Your daily coaching program will support this journey by unlocking your limiting beliefs, understanding what you really want from your life, creating new intentions, and planning exactly how you can bring these to life. The week will be a combination of yoga asana, meditation, mantra, mudra, discussion, journaling, and coaching.

    Together they will help create a personal tool-kit for you to take home and support your on-going re-sparklement! Relax and re-sparkle is an open level retreat. Everyone is welcome to come and relax. Modifications will be offered to make sure everyone is comfortable, and has space to expand and grow their own personal practice in a safe and self loving way.

    Event 11 - Autumn equinox holistic detox retreat with Evening-Marie and Bahareh Hosseini - September 17-23, 2017

    The autumn equinox invites you to turn within, to assess your state of balance between the light of your consciousness and the dark of your shadow, and to take inventory of all you have gained and that which needs releasing in order to lay the foundation for a new life cycle to grow.

    This week, you shall greet the qualities of this natural shift of cycles with a blend of techniques from the integrated approach to yoga therapy and Kundalini yoga, as well as Ayurvedic practices that serve to detoxify and balance the physical and psycho-spiritual self, including some optional partner and self-massage or acupressure, specifically to assist with the detoxification process and later as self daily detox.

    Morning Sadhana will lay the foundation for each day's body-mind-spirit cleansing, while afternoon sessions will focus on healing, restorative meditations, and key journaling practices that help guide you more consciously, step-by-step, toward honoring the light of your consciousness that ushers in empowerment and success and overcoming the darkness of your shadow that holds you back from total self realization and fulfillment.     Sample itinerary

    Day 1 - Sunday - arrivals and retreat start

    Your retreat journey starts on Sunday afternoons with complimentary pickup service from the Stari Grad port and check in starting at 4:45 p.m. A welcome snack awaits you on arrival and you will have time to settle in. Dinner and Welcome Circle are scheduled in the evenings, along with an informal walking tour of the beautiful village.

    In the afternoon, the scheduled transfer from Stari Grad Port is at 4:30 p.m. Please note that during the autumn events, the walking tour may take place on Monday.

    Day 2 - Monday - Stari Grad Town and beaches

    In the morning, you will have a yoga Sadhana class, followed by brunch and Karma yoga, and after free time for outing to Stari Grad town and beaches.

    You will enjoy a stroll through Croatia's oldest town where you can see ancient Greek and Roman ruins, visit historical museums, browse through funky art galleries and antiques shops, or enjoy the offerings of the many cafes and restaurants. From the town, you can catch a taxi boat to the beach resorts on the other side of the bay, or simply stroll along the beautiful coastline to find the perfect little cove in which to swim and sunbathe the rest of the afternoon away!

    Optionally, you can visit today the fisherman's village and have a short beach gem trip.

    In the afternoon you will be transferred to Suncokret for the integrated holistic program at the retreat.

    In the evening you will have dinner followed by Karma yoga and free time. At 10:00 p.m. you will start Mauna - inner quietude practice.

    Day 3 - Tuesday - Ager and beach getaway

    In the morning, you will have a yoga Sadhana class, followed by brunch and Karma yoga, and after free time for outing to Ager and Soline Beach Resort

    You will have the chance to enjoy a safari ride through the amazing UNESCO protected Stari Grad Plain, or "Ager", where you will catch sight of ancient fields and vineyards that date back over 2000 years, with perhaps a stop to climb an ancient field house, pick some wild herbs or flowers or visit a vineyard and olive grove. The tour ends at Soline Beach Resort, which features a restaurant, cafe, bathrooms, and showers beside a busy family beach. Stunningly beautiful "naturist-friendly" coves and bays are a short walk away.

    In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Suncokret for the integrated holistic program by the sea.

    In the evening you will have dinner followed by Karma yoga and free time. At 10:00 p.m. you will start Mauna - inner quietude practice.

    Day 4 - Wednesday - Jelsa Town and beaches

    In the morning, you will have a yoga Sadhana class, followed by brunch and Karma yoga, and after free time for outing to Jelsa Town and beaches.

    You will visit Jelsa, the islands "youngest" seaside town, with its bustling main square featuring numerous cafes and ice cream parlors. Explore windy cobble stone streets with hidden restaurants, churches, boutiques, and funky art galleries, then head back to the main promenade that leads to the town beaches set on either side of the wide town bay. Stroll over to the local town beach or enjoy a longer walk under the shelter of the pinewood forest before arriving at the much-appreciated sandy-bottomed bays with crystal clear waters that the town is famous for.

    In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Suncokret for the integrated holistic program at the retreat.

    In the evening you will have dinner followed by Karma yoga and free time. At 10:00 p.m. you will start Mauna - inner quietude practice.

    Day 5 - Thursday - Fisherman's village and beach gem

    In the morning, you will have a yoga Sadhana class, followed by brunch and Karma yoga, and after free time for outing to a fisherman's village and exotic beach gem. You will make a stop off at Vrboska, a quaint fisherman's village with historical footbridges, impressive early-Croatian churches, and fortress set along a colorful marina with several cafes and restaurants. From here, stroll along the coast till you reach Soline beach (a favorite spot for afternoon yoga) for another glorious day of relaxation, sea and sun.

    As an alternative, you might visit Zorace or Milna villages instead; each location offering a quiet seaside village with inspiring bays to enjoy.

    In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Suncokret for the integrated holistic program by the sea.

    Day 6 - Friday - Yoga safari outing, picnic breakfast, mini tour and drop-off in the world-famous Hvar town

    The morning starts with a trip to the yoga safari location, followed by two-hour yoga Sadhana practice. A picnic brunch is available after yoga proceeded by Karma yoga and a mini tour of the surprise location.

    After the morning yoga outing, you will be dropped off in the world-famous Hvar Town, a "living museum", where you can visit a multitude of historic and cultural treasures, browse through a variety of fancy boutiques and shops, or people-watch in a stylish cafe along the famous square or harbor promenade - you might even catch a glimpse of a celebrity or two!

    Then walk over to a town cove for a dip in the crystal clear sea, or perhaps hop onto a taxi boat for an excursion to the Pakleni Archipelago, for an exotic extension to Hvar's beach-life culture. Participants will opt to either have dinner in town (separately priced) followed by a guided sunset safari tour of the island, or alternatively to return to the retreat for a final dinner on location (with no tour option). At 10 p.m. you will start Mauna (inner quietude).

    Day 7 - Saturday - Retreat conclusion and departures

    In the morning, you will have a yoga Sadhana class, followed by brunch and Karma yoga, and after check-out and departure for Stari Grad Port at 10:45 a.m.

    Guests staying on at the retreat for an additional retreat week ahead are invited to manage their own free time, meals, and transport until program commencement on Sunday evening.

    Optional one-to-one holistic therapies, spa and workshops programs are available by appointment daily from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

    Villa surroundings and ambiance

    The complex of semi-attached stone villas is nestled into a secluded corner of Dol, Sveta Ana. During summer months, however, the village tends to fill up with holidaymakers, including natives taking up residence in their ancestral summer cottages that have been in the family for generations.     Village offerings versus town conveniences

    The village features two local restaurants and a local cafe with Wi-Fi access within walking distance from the retreat. There are no shops, banks or ATM's, post offices, etc., so please plan ahead, though there is plenty of pure nature with inviting footpaths to explore and unlimited supplies of fresh air to help you relax and disconnect from the stresses of city life.     Getting around

    For your convenience, as part of the foundational retreat program package, Suncokret Dream provides complimentary scheduled transport to and from various points of interest each day of the retreat week. Guests may opt to remain at the retreat for quiet time during the day instead and arrange their own transport needs.

    The nearest town, Stari Grad, is located two kilometers from the retreat. The journey to Stari Grad takes about 40 minutes on foot, 10 to 15 minutes by bike, and only five minutes by scooter or car (rental options are available in Stari Grad).

    From Monday to Thursday, Suncokret Dream serves a beautiful brunch in the garden post-yoga practice. Brunch usually consists of fresh seasonal fruit, nuts, warm and cold cereals, fresh farm eggs, local bread or pastries, veggie and cheese spreads, yoghurt and milk, organic rice or almond milk, and, quite possibly, tasty left-overs from the previous night's dinner (they don't believe in letting precious quality food go to waste). On Friday morning, a picnic brunch is served on location after the yoga-safari Sadhana.

    Dinner, served Monday to Thursday, usually consists of a soup and salad starter, followed by a main dish.

    After the Saturday morning closing circle a self-service breakfast buffet is served in the garden, prior to the 10:45 a.m. check-out time, to ensure that you depart from the retreat well-nourished for your journey ahead.

    Local tap water, mineral water, herbal tea and home-made organic cordials, when available, are provided with each meal. As a safe shelter from addictive substances, the policy is to not serve coffee, but you may bring your own emergency supply along, if necessary, or perhaps savor in an occasional cup of the local brew in the town cafes when the need or mood strikes.

    On Tuesday and Thursday, the yoga program is held at the magnificent beach locations you are brought to by free transfer in the morning, while on Monday and Wednesday the yoga program is held back at the retreat, making the latter ideal days in which to stay behind at the retreat for optional holistic treatments or workshops in case you are in need of pampering or holistic support.

    For guests who are staying for two back to back event weeks, weekends are an ideal time to try a little island adventure.     Arrival by airplane

    Please book your flight to arrive at Zagreb Airport (ZAG). From there you can book a connection domestic flight to Split Airport (SPU).

    From Split, you will have to take the ferry to get to Stari Grad. You will be picked up by Suncokret Dream from the Stari Grad port at 4:30 p.m. to be transferred to the resort.

    Arrival by bus

    A bus operated by Croatia Airlines departs from just outside the terminal door. You buy the ticket from the driver, 4 EUR. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the city center. There is also a local bus that goes to the bus station in Split to and from Trogir every 20 minutes from a stop on the road in front of the Airport Terminal. The price of the ticket is approximately the same.

    After you have reached Split Port, you will need to get a ferry transfer from Split Port to Stari Grad Port. You will be picked up by Suncokret Dream from the Stari Grad port at 4:30 p.m. to be transferred to the resort.

    Arrival by ferry

    After your bus transfer to Split Port you will need to get a ferry transfer from Split Port to Stari Grad Port.

    The airport bus stop is just next to the old town. From there you can see the ferry, a short walk away.

    Next to the ferry / bus / train / taxi station are ticket booths for Jadrolinija, the ferry company, where you can buy your ferry tickets. Alternatively, you can buy your ticket at the booth in the ferry terminal itself or online.

    You will be picked up by Suncokret Dream from the Stari Grad port at 4:30 p.m. to be transferred to the resort.

    Arrival by taxi

    A taxi to Split costs about 33 to 40 EUR. You can book a taxi online. Once you have reached Split Port, you will need to get a ferry transfer from Split Port to Stari Grad Port. You will be picked up by Suncokret Dream from the Stari Grad port at 4:30 p.m. to be transferred to the resort.

      "This trip has been amazing. We felt so welcome and warmly cared for by both the family and the pets. The rooms were sweet, harmonious and cozy decor. The Retreat was beautifully located with a nice view, relaxed atmosphere and a cozy little garden where we sometimes ate brunch, when the weather allowed. The negative I can highlight is the weather, it rained a lot. Amazing cultures with local vegetables were in the immediate area. Also great and nourishing food. Glorious Morning yoga and good evenings with a serious and committed teacher. It was yoga for the whole group of different conditions and levels.       "I have been to numerous yoga retreats and this was by far the most memorable. While Hvar may be becoming a popular destination, the retreat is far from the fray in the best way possible. With views of rolling hills of olive and lavender, yoga is 1-2 hours every morning, followed by a feast in the garden for brunch and then an (optional) excursion to a nearby beach or town (with a beach), and then another lovely vegetarian meal for dinner in the garden. There were a couple very nice outdoor meditation classes as well-- two by the sea and another on a hilltop.As far as the yoga, I came with a serious back injury, in a back brace, and had thought about canceling, but Evening convinced me to come-- well, also the deposit is nonrefundable-- but Evening convinced me it would be good. She spent over 2 hours with me the first day showing me therapeutic exercises for my back (out of the kindness of her heart-- no additional charge). She even made suggestions about detoxing through talking and writing, which I admit I was skeptical about. But in the end it all seems to have worked. The exercises she showed me strengthened my core and with additional physical therapy my back has healed without surgery-- my doctor loves seeing me because he says I'm the only one he's ever healed without surgery-- but really it was Evening who healed it.Also, keeping the journal really cleared my mind and helped me get perspective on my life. And I was lucky to be there at a time when there were a number of lively and kindhearted others with whom to spend days by the beach and wandering the picturesque seaside towns. In fact, I'll be visiting two of them in Sweden soon. I recommend doing all the excursions-- they were all wonderful. Evening and Stipe really take you off the beaten track and show you the real Hvar, but you never feel like you're on a tour-- they kind of just tell you some good facts and drop you off and you're on your way. You can eat a gelato or meditate on a rock-- up to you.For me, the retreat was the best of all worlds-- making new friends, having new adventures, and having a healthy daily routine on a magical beautiful island. It was a great escape and changed my mindset and my life. I am so grateful to Evening and Stipe for creating the environment that they do-- allowing for laughter and silliness, as well as good yoga and meditation, and most importantly for me, real healing. Oh, and I met my new, amazing boyfriend the week I returned. Coincidence? I think not."
