Dr. Matthew Clark
(Yoga philosophy and history teacher) Since 2004, Dr Matthew Clark has been affiliated as a research associate to the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London), where, between 1999 and 2003, he taught Hinduism. He has traveled very extensively in India and has published books and articles on soma, sadhus, and yoga. He is a freelance scholar, who works occasionally as a proof-reader, editor, and tutor for yoga teacher-training courses. He also writes songs and plays guitar; he has produced several albums of music as Mahabongo.
Unai quit his job as a successful lawyer a few years ago in Barcelona and decided to travel the world for a while. His six-month original plan turned into his plan for the future as he decided to combine his love for travel with his knowledge in organization, social media, and running a successful business. After a year living in New York City and having a deep contact with the yoga world, he started to realize how he could help yoga teachers in their business of yoga (which is a course he now teaches on yoga teacher training's and a service he offers to teachers around the world).
Fernando is a physical therapist and osteopath from Spain. Coming from the dance world he specialized on Pilates and Water therapy, allowing him to work in the Spanish health system and the Wellness world. During the last 8 years he has been immersed into Yoga, which moved him to India, where he teaches Anatomy and Biomechanics in Yoga TTC courses. He currently lives in Denmark and is involved with Kopenhaguen University and University of León, Spain, working on Health Innovation and teaches biomechanics to health professionals to spread a wider knowledge of Yoga and its benefits.
Lucy's immersion into yoga and spirituality began in 2011 whilst traveling in India. She was cracked open (spiritually) at a meditation center and never looked back. She was living in Dubai at that time, just as the first Yogafest events took place, it was here she met her first influential yoga teachers and became part of the sound and energy healing communities. Initially practicing Ashtanga and Bikram until she later fell in love with Vinyasa Flow. She loved the sense of community, the empowering feeling of unity with the mind, body, and spirit after years of not taking good care of heself.
Japan is a very meditative environment to grow up in, so it made sense for Iku to be drawn to yoga from the beginning. After a great change in her life, she could not find her place, her mind was either in the past or future, but never in the present, on what is really important. Starting her practice was an essential change in her life and that of those around her. When she wakes up in the morning, she practices and knows that this day will be balanced and full of new beginnings and wonder. Plus a stay fit and healthy. She became a teacher to share this with others.
Despite having been practicing martial arts for more than 15 years, it was by pure chance that Pablo discovered yoga. He accepted the invitation of a friend to attend a Vinyasa class at Jivamukti, and when he left, his body was shaking and he felt a sense of openness and well-being that is difficult to describe. He had been practicing boxing, wrestling, and self-defense for many years, but yoga added something deeper to his life, tranquility, and a unique awareness not only of his body but also, and above all, of his mind.

"Great and experienced teachers in a beautiful location"
The school is in a great location, close to the beach in a beautiful town.
The instructors took care of me during my stay and the meal options were excellent.
Regarding the classes and courses that they offer, the teachers have a huge background in biomechanics and anatomy. I learnt a lot. A lot.
I was able to do poses that I never did before, the classes were very creative and I loved the massages during shavasana. Nice touch.

"One of the best experiences of my life"
It was an amazing experience. It was challenging, demanding, very hard but at the same time satisfying and fulfilling. I had fun and I met amazing people there. Days are really full, so be prepared and do your homework before. This is not a holiday, it’s a training for people that really want to know and are curious about yoga and biomechanics. I discovered a wonderful world thanks to Amanda. She’s really the best teacher ever. She really knows what’s she’s talking about, and she finds simple ways to explain complex things. The location in the big yoga house is beautiful it makes you feel home. The workshops are really interesting( I really loved the one on thai massage with Leigh). The people are kind, reliable and lovely. Thank you so much to make me feel home! It was a wonderful experience.

"Quality Yoga Teacher Training"
Amanda has a lot of experience and knowledge and transmits this to her students. I had done a 200 hour teacher training some years ago but I didn't feel ready to teach afterwards. Not the case after doing this training. It is intense, there is a lot of prep work to do before the training starts, and a lot of information to take in in a short time, but so worth it. Even with the large choice of YTT's out there I feel confident I made the right choice taking this one.
