Boat tour to the tiny islet of Bievo, placed just next to island of Vis, which is filled with vineyards, pine trees, beaches and the spectacular Blue Cave (Modra pilja). Between 11am and noon the suns rays pass through an underwater opening in this coastal cave to bathe the interior in an unearthly blue light. Beneath the crystal-blue water, rocks glimmer in silver and pink to a depth of 16m.
Vis is the biggest and oldest settlement on the island. It was established in this spot by the Greeks in 4th century BC due to its well protected natural bay and environment suitable for food growing. During ages it was famous for its strategical point (centre point of entire the Adriatic Sea) so it was ruled (or conquered) by many cultures Romans, Venetians, Austrians and Brits. Each of these cultures left something behind making Vis quite architecturally special its the home of Greek Polis ruins, Roman theatre and spa ruins, Venetian palaces, British forts and Austrian stronghold and lighthouses. Simply a must see little town.
Komiza is a small town with rich history strongly attached to the sea. It is one of the most picturesque towns in Croatia, surrounded by green hills, vineyards and crystal clear sea filled with small fishing boats. All stone houses are tightly compacted around narrow streets right on the sea coast creating excellent shelter from sun and strong winds. Ultimate bohemian spirit and laid back atmosphere can be noticed on every corner of this place filled with life, restaurants and bars.
Stiniva cove is a natural phenomenon of an unbelievably attractive and unusual appearance situated on the south side of the island of Vis. Looking from the sea side, Stiniva is closed in by two high rocky cliffs which, at their closest point, are just four metres apart from each other. After that cliffs expand into an unexpectedly wide and beautiful seaside cove. Probably it was produced by collapsed cave ceiling in the geologic past. The fresh appearance of the blue-green sea beside the white cliffs is nothing short of magical.
Srebrna Beach (Silver Beach) is located near the small tourist town Rukavac on the southeast side of the island. It is one of the most attractive and beautiful beaches on this island. The beach is exposed to open sea and the waves. Its perfectly white pebbles, large flat rocks and pine grove make it ideal for picnics and naps.

She uses those personal experiences infused with mindfulness as dedication to her continuous growth, as well as guidance for her students. When she is not on her mat, you can find Vanessa surfing some waves all year long, snowboarding in the winter, or just being content with life.

Vis has a rich history the first settlers were living here already 3000 years BC and the Greek colony Issa (now town of Vis) was established in the 4th century BC. Until today Vis has also experienced Roman, Venetian, French, British, Austrian and Croatian rulings and the narrow streets of its towns remind you of this history every step of the way.
Isolation of the island during Yugoslav times placed Vis among the favorite destinations of the entire Mediterranean when Croatia became independent. Beautiful beaches, preserved nature, ecological agriculture and traditional architecture make this island exceptional and unique.
Vis has always been an island of fishermen and winegrowers. It is said that the first grape vine in Dalmatia was planted by the ancient Greeks in Vis and the Greek writer Agatarhid said that the wine from Vis was, compared to all others, better. There are in average 2600 sunny hours through the year.
