Your Goan time will be filled with yoga, breath, meditation, nature, sound vibrations, shamanic journeying, working with your subconscious and deep restoration. It will also be a joyful presence at the moment with free self-expression and blissful relaxation. This retreat is for anyone who is looking for a better connection with themselves, their body, mind, and soul.
You will be staying in Ivon Guest House, situated right by the palm grove 50 meters from the beach. It is a quiet place where you will get the chance to observe the everyday life of your local neighbors. Rooms are basic and simple with double bed, shelves, fan, and your own bathroom and hot water. There are a few restaurants right by the guest house serving both local and continental food. Within a few minutes walk, there are also fruit stands and shops where you can buy whatever you need.
We will be using Hatha yoga techniques, Yoga Nidra, explore the feminine cycle and do workshops to get a closer connection with your own being and (the cycle of) nature. You will use your voice and dive into the world of ancient plant remedies. In the amazing Goan surroundings, you will practice twice a day, deepening the understanding of yogic and tantric traditions, expanding your awareness and anchor yourselves within your core essence.
This retreat is an amazing opportunity to get out of the white-grey winter to experience bright colors, sun, exotic food, a warm ocean, and first and foremost deepen your yoga practice. It will also be a joyful presence at the moment with free self-expression and blissful relaxation. Beside yoga practice, there will be time for the beach, swimming in the ocean, listen to amazing live music, dancing, checking out local markets and interesting spots nearby like ruins of an old fort and Old Goa area.

You are going to Arambol, where Indian culture meets the European-colonial influence. It is a fishermen village in the central part of India on the western coast in the northern part of Goa. It is situated by one of the most beautiful beaches of that region. This long, wide beach by the warm ocean along with its palm grove is home to eagles and many other amazing birds. With its natural beauty, this place has remained free from commercial tourism and large hotels.
Surrounded with hills with a panoramic view onto the coast and dolphins passing by, it holds many surprising sites like a sweet lake just by the ocean or giant banyan trees. This spot has been discovered by hippies in the sixties and up until this day you can sense their spirit. In the winter season, it is filled with yoga adepts, artists of all kinds, and people from all over the world. They are drawn by the exquisite energy of this place, sunny weather, and culinary specialties.
Besides your schedule, there will be enough free time for relaxation, dancing, beach time, swimming in the ocean, listening to amazing live music, shopping, checking out the local markets, exploring the surroundings like the ruins of an old fort and Old Goa area.
Mary and Annika are both bodyworkers in different fields. You can book massages, Reiki, and other treatments separately and these are available upon request.
