Whether you are new to yoga or a well-established practitioner, this yoga vacation program invites you to step outside the challenges and complexities of everyday life and return to what’s important. Sub-Art Yoga is located in the quiet seaside village Ražanj in Croatia. The free time is for you to enjoy the sun, sea, or take a boat trip. They can also organize a trip to Krka Waterfalls or world heritage sites like Split, Šibenik, or Trogir for you.
Start your refreshing yoga retreat with a morning yoga session and meditation in the yoga shala with great views of the sea. After that, enjoy a healthy breakfast before taking a walk, a trip to the Krka Waterfalls, or maybe just relax, sunbathe, and read a good book. After your five-day break, you will feel refreshed and centered and ready to go back to the real you once again!
Everyone will bring different mental, emotional, and physical skills to the yoga classes. To detect and respect those and integrate them into the actual yoga practice is very important for Sub-Art Yoga. The focus in all practices is on breathing. Breath is movement, movement is life. Breath is your natural source of energy (Prana). With its vital power and its healing effects, it is the core of the yoga classes.
Each yoga practice will have its special topic. Power in the body center, making room in the thorax, relaxed neck and shoulders, power in the shoulders, widening and erection of the upper back, empowerment and relaxation of the lower back, and stability of the pelvis, knees, and feet. The concept of the yoga classes is based on positions of the classic Hatha yoga expanded with influences of classic Indian yoga, Chinese Taoism, and scientific Western knowledge about anatomy, body geometry, and the function of the inner organs.
During this retreat, you will walk to Cape Punta Planka with its 13th century built chapel of Sveti Ivan. The cape is well-known for its spectacular sunrises and is a common destination for groups to experience a very special morning meditation.

Ražanj is a small Dalmatian fishing village situated between Split and Šibenik in Croatia. The surroundings are dominated by olive groves, pine tree forests, picturesque bays, and, of course, the Mediterranean Sea with its pristine crystal clear waters. Because of its quiet and beautiful unspoiled landscape, Ražanj is the ideal spot for all kinds of yoga retreats, as well as a family holiday.
The Mediterranean climate with loads of sun and hardly any rainfall guarantees a relaxing time by the sea. Because of its isolated location, mass tourism never reached here. Thus, Razanj was able to preserve its quiet Dalmatian village ambiance.
In the center of the village, you'll find a supermarket with a bakery, a restaurant, and two cafés along with an information stand right beside a small market that offers fruits, vegetables, and freshly caught fish. Ražanj is also a diving and snorkeling paradise.
In close vicinity to the village on Cap Punta Planka is the 13th-century chapel of Sevti Ivan. From Movar Hill, with its remnants of a medieval fortress, you have a breathtaking view of the village, the surroundings, and adjacent islets. The International Airport Split (SPU) is a 30-minute drive from the apartment house.
For the morning meals, each apartment is equipped with a full-size kitchen, including a coffee machine, stove, fridge, dishes, etc. A new supermarket (Studenac) with bakery and two cafés are situated in the close village center (a three-minute walk from the house).
For dinner, there are several restaurants in the village center (a three-minute walk from the house) which offer many specialties of the Croatians and especially, Dalmatian cuisine. The focus is on the use of local produce. Excellent dishes are offered for vegetarians, vegans, as well as for fish and meat connoisseurs.
SUP equipment can be rented on site.
