“I want to share my approach to having a joyful and positive relationship with food, and the ways that this can be built upon to incorporate spiritual practices more into day to day life, to build a joyful and positive relationship with yourself. I’m not here to offer nutritional science or preach diets. I’m here to bring a new angle to self care, and share what I have learnt about the importance of food in spirituality, and wellbeing far beyond the physical.

This welcome talk will focus on aspects of cooking and eating for pleasure that will carry through the cookery workshops, excursions and shared meals, all complimented by daily yoga and mediation:

-Exploring how to identify and work with externally driven subconscious and limiting beliefs around food, diet and weight

-Accessing your emotional and intuitive connection to what you eat

-Learning about self care and practical spirituality in day to day life both with food and beyond”

  • 18:30 - 19:30 PROPRIOCEPTION AND INTEROCEPTION yoga flow with Corrie

When you close your eyes, what do you feel inside? Are you aware of what your body and mind needs right now? Can you tell where your body is in space and how the movements it creates interact with the elements surrounding you? Are you able to follow purely your intuition or do you get caught up in what you think you should be doing? Through a vinyasa flow, mindfulness meditation and talking workshop we will look at how we connect our external and internal worlds, the sensory input we receieve and how we can attune more deeply with every part of the human experience to live, breathe and move more harmoniously.

Day 2 - Saturday, November 2, 2019

  • 07:00 - 08:15 BETWIXT AND BETWEEN yoga flow with Corrie\

Yoga is a practice that often feels defined by reaching somewhere; the next pose, more strength, more length, a higher state of consciousness, enlightenment. However you often hear yogis talking about making the most of the journey, being in the moment, letting go of attachments. How do we balance these conflicting ideas and learn to walk the middle path? Liminality is the concept of neither here nor there, betwixt and between, balancing on the threshold, releasing identities and being comfortable with transitionary times. Yoga flow, meditation, breathing, a fully embodied morning session.

  • 10:00 Trip to Harewood Farm

Trip to a local biodynamic farm set in a beautiful 25 acre small holding on the banks of the River Tamar. Jo has the most beautiful gardens and polytunnel where she biodynamically grows the most incredible seasonal fruit and veg. We will learn a bit about biodynamic farming and get to see what’s being grown when we visit!

An interactive and hands on cookery workshop and demonstration - join Sal in the main barn to create a delicious, simple and joyful meal. Take pleasure in an afternoon of simple, mindful cooking tasks led by Sal culminating in a plant based feast for the group to share.

Day 3 - Sunday, November 3, 2019

  • 07:00 - 08:30 DANCE OF CHANGE yoga flow with Corrie

We spend most of our lives reacting to the environement we find ourselves in and the people we interact with, as well as reacting to what seems to bubble up from inside ourselves. By stopping this cycle and doing some inward reflection, we can discover that all of our reactions and feelings are within our control and we can decide what to do with them. We will tap into the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system and analyse these ideas through movement and meditation.

  • 09:45 Depart by this time (but Stretch Breathe Smile will be taking their doggies for a lovely local walk and possibly picnic before they drive home, once they've packed up and left the venue, at approximately 10.00 a.m., you’re more than welcome to join them, they can organize more formally once they know who’s coming and get a group consensus!)

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
