You will journey to the sacred lake Khayer, as you trek through Gurung and Magar villages, rhododendron forests, and vast Himalayan panoramic views. Accommodation

During the holiday, you will be staying one night at Fuji Hotel in Kathmandu and the rest of the nights at Big Pillow Inn in Pokhara. All rooms will be a twin-shared based while the single supplement is available upon request.

Program

Day 1 - Arrived in Kathmandu

Arrival to Kathmandu Airport (1310 meters/4298 feet) where the representative will welcome you and assist in transferring to your hotel for an overnight stay

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Approximately six to seven hours.

Early morning at 7 a.m., transfer to the bus station and drove to Pokhara.

In the evening, discuss for next trip details with trek leader or yoga guru. Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapool (one and a half hours) and trek Ghandruk (1945 meters) of five hours trek.

After breakfast, drive to Nayapool rewarded with magnificent views of the Himalayas including Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, the five peaks of Annapurna and others.

Later, you start the trek to Ghandruk. The Ghandruk village is a major recruitment center for the famous Gurkha soldiers and is the hub of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, which promotes many varied ecological projects. Teahouse lunch and healthy snacks provided on the way.

Day 4: Ghandruk to Tadapani (2,590 meters /8,497 feet t) 3 to 4 hours

  • A morning meditation and Pranayama including Hatha yoga

In Ghandruk, you get to enjoy astonishing views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli mountains. Today, your trekking path will slowly be ascending through dense rhododendron forests.

The Rhododendron is Nepal’s national flower and when they bloom, the forests turn into gardens of a dazzling number of different flowers when seen from the air or from afar.

After trekking over a small pass we reach Tadapani where we get to enjoy excellent views of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna and Hiunchuli mountains. Upon arriving, you have a chance to a Tibetan village who sells things for the tourists to take back home as souvenirs. Teahouse lunch and healthy snacks provided on the way.

Day 5: Tadapani to Dobato (3,350 meters / 10,990 feet) 4 to 5 hours

After Tadapani, you leave the main trail and follow the off the beaten track for the next five days. On your trek today, you get to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna of the region and of course the magnificent view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South. Trekking in a relatively easy trail, you reach Dobato which is dominated by the excellent view of the Annapurna South. Teahouse lunch and healthy snacks provided on the way.

Day 6: Dobato to Upper Chistibung (2,975 meters/ 3,198 feet) 4 to 5 hours

After enjoying panorama view with breakfast, you descend through open ground and beautiful forest to reach the pastures of Lower Chistibung. Then further, you ascend gradually through a forest before reaching Upper Chistibung which is a temporary herder’s settlement. If you’re lucky, you might even spot the colorful Lophophorus (Danphe), the national bird of Nepal, as well as Himalayan Thar on the grassy ridge high above the trail. Teahouse lunch and healthy snacks provided on the way.

Day 7: Trek to Khopra Ridge (3,660 meters / 12007 feet) 3 to 4 hours

  • A Morning meditation and pranayama including Hatha Yoga

You embark on a steady climb above the tree line through alpine meadows to reach in Khopra. As you approach Khopra Ridge, the vantage view of Annapurna South will welcome you as well as a viewpoint overlooking the Kali Gandaki river far below in this deep valley.

From Khopra, you will also admire the stunning mountain panorama including Mount. Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Annapurna South. Teahouse lunch and healthy snacks provided on the way.

Day 8: Rest day in Khopra Ridge and day excursion at Khaire Lake (4,500 meters/14,763 feet) 10 to 11 hours

Start your day hike in the morning towards the Khaire Lake. Considered to be a sacred lake by the Hindus, it is believed that bathing in the lake will help attain salvation. However, no considered to be you are related to religion as anyone can wish they are desired to relief for next in a good life.

There is a number of Hindu and Buddhist shrines on the lakeshore. For those of you who do not want to walk all the way to the lake, a half-day walk from Khopra can also be arranged. Teahouse lunch packed and healthy snacks provided on the way.

Day 9: Trek to Swanta Village (2,200 meters / 7,217 feet) 5 to 6 hours

From Khopra Ridge, you descend off the hillside to Swanta Village. Along the way, you will have a great chance to face giant Mount Dhaulagiri with a number of the mountain providing a lovely backdrop to the terraced fields and traditional houses in the nearby villages. Day 10: Trek to Ulleri (2,050 meters / 6,725 feet) 5 to 6 hours

The trek continues as you descend through the village fields to a small river and take a quick photo sight at the local watermill. And following, you cross the suspension bridge and head upwards to the village of Ghorepani. After Ghorepani, you descend through the rhododendron forest to Ulleri.Teahouse lunch and healthy snacks provided on the way.

Day 11: Trek to NayaPul then drive to Pokhara: five hours trek, a one-hour drive

This holiday takes place in Kathmandu and Pokhara, Nepal.
