This training will be held at Samahita Retreat in Koh Samui, Thiland. Samahita Retreat lies on the quiet south coast of Koh Samui, a tropical island in the gulf of Thailand that has long stretches of pristine beaches and unspoiled land.

The island is relatively near to Bangkok, Singapore, and Hong Kong, Samui has the allure of a remote island paradise but with the accessibility of the region’s most popular destinations. Samahita Retreat was established with the specific purpose of practicing yoga and learning healthy and positive living habits.

Situated on Laem Sor beach, Samahita Retreat is surrounded by towering coconut trees in a quiet, spacious area with incredible sunrises and sunsets that play with the colors of the water, sand, and tropical fauna. Only a few hundred meters away is the well-known Laem Sor Pagoda, which houses the remains of Leung Poo Daeng, a realized monk. The only other structures in the area are villas privately owned.

As such, the beach is private and virtually undisturbed creating a beautiful, peaceful setting for you to enjoy your Thailand yoga holiday retreat. As this side of the island is protected by a natural reef, there are only some parts of the year when the beach directly in-front of Samahita is high enough to swim.

"My coaching with Tom gave me a great base to sort out my thoughts, clarify my goals, and find my own path. Prior to the work, I felt uncertain but I was ready to make my life as a yoga teacher happen. The ideas were there yet I needed somebody to help me to actually getting started and going. With Tom’s help, I was able to reflect myself, my goals, and my scheme of life. Now I feel motivated to work on my goals one step at the time and to achieve what I have set out to do."

"My decision to go on the yoga retreat in India was so far the best decision I made in my life. During that period I was going through a lot of changes in my life and participation in the Happy-yoga-tribe with Sandra and Tom was the final push I needed in order to start the new, more conscious life. The retreat helped me to let go of some old habits and to make some new, better and more fulfilling habits. Tom and Sandra were very supportive during our whole stay in India and they really made it as comfortable as it can be. We really engaged in simple living by taking care of each other and of the environment. Our days were very well planned from the morning pranayama, ashtanga led classes, beautiful brunch to the restorative evening classes and dinner where we would enjoy in conversation with each other frequently laughing and just having good time. I met a lot of very nice people and new friendships were made but the most important friendship I made is the one with myself. I can say that the happiest moments of my life are those spent in India and none of it would be possible if there weren’t these two beautiful people who made it possible. Thank you and see you again!"

"I have been studying Ashtanga yoga with Tom for over three years now, on almost daily basis. During that time I have hugely progressed in my practice. This was also a time of great transition for me, during which I started a new yoga company. Tom has always been a great mentor in this process. Perhaps the most valuable outcome of working with him so closely and hearing his advice is a much better sense of my personal potential and ability to achieve things, on and off the mat. In this coaching program Tom has systematized his deeply principled yogic strategy for developing a yoga career, making it particularly useful to aspiring Yoga teachers, and those who intend to develop a yoga related business. I highly recommend it."
