Time to Thrive: Freedom Yoga Retreat with Meditation in the UK

Gain freedom from your inner restraints by letting go of what no longer serves you. Learn how to surrender old beliefs or behaviours, to be vulnerable, and move into your authenticity. You will be identifying your learned behaviour and beliefs, therefore setting yourself free.

The venue is a stunning renovated barn where they can accommodate up to 12 guests across a range of room options, with underfloor heating. There are options to suit all budgets where all accommodation is spacious and well-appointed for ultimate comfort. All rooms come with ensuite with a choice of private suite or same sex sharing options to suit your budget. Some rooms have the options to be set up as a double or singles.

Day 1: Wednesday

  • 15:00 - 16:30 Arrive (refreshments on arrival)
  • 17:00 - 17:30 Welcome
  • 18:00 - 19:00 Dinner
  • 20:00 - 22:00 Identify + Release: An evening to acknowledge and identify patterns of behaviour which hold you back, to challenge those thoughts and beliefs, and to release what no longer serves you (at the Round house, out around the fire pit weather permitting, otherwise indoors, using the log burner)

Day 2: Thursday

  • 08:30 - 09:30 Restorative Pilates
  • 09:00 - 10:00 Breakfast
  • 11:00 - 13:00 Source of the river walk (release intentions)
  • 13:30 - 14:30 Lunch
  • 14:30 - 16:30 Journal / treatments / downtime
  • 17:00 - 18:00 Vinyasa
  • 18:30 - 19:30 Dinner
  • 19:30 - 22:00 Treatments / reflect / downtime

Day 3: Friday

Retreat location

Stables Wellbeing is located in the stunning Brecon Beacons within its own 6 acres of land, containing an ancient medieval chapel (ruins) and woodland/nature walk. Wander down to the woodland ‘Round House’ with firepit or stay awhile, seated in quiet reflection in a sunken dell by the still waters of the nature pond.

Food

The food is nourishing, healthy, satisfying, and meat free. Where possible, locally sourced and organic. The chefs are experienced in providing vegan and vegetarian options. Just let them know of any medical allergies.

How to get there

Driving directions

From the East

  • You travel along the M4 until the last junction, (roundabout) then turn right (second exit).
  • The place is just 20 minutes way from here, 90 minutes from the Severn Crossing, and 3 hours from Heathrow.

From the North

  • Get to M5 then take M50, straight down to M4 or take A40 junction, for a more scenic route.
  • Stay on A40 until Llandovery, then on to Llandeilo.
  • See local directions below.

From Ammanford centre

  • At the lights at the top of the high street, turn right (not towards Llandeilo).
  • Go along the road, about half a mile, turn left after the speed camera. Tip: This road takes you past the recycling centre.
  • Continue along this road until you come into the village of Llandyfan.
  • Go past the ‘Square and Compass’ pub which should be on your right.
  • Slow down here as you need to take the next right turn (approximately 50 meters and looks like an inclined fork right turn).
  • You now proceed along this road and up the hill.
  • When the road levels off, look for the signs ahead of you on the right which will state Stables Wellbeing. Turn right here.
  • Continue up the drive, keeping to the left and you will arrive at a large parking area.

From Llandeilo centre

  • Leave the town and go over the bridge
  • At the mini roundabout in Ffairfach, turn left (brown sign for Carreg Cennen Castle).
  • Continue along the road and under the railway bridge.
  • Once you have passed under the bridge, turn right.
  • You should see another brown sign for Carreg Cennen.
  • You pass the old Ffairfach school on your left.
  • Go along this road until you come into the village of Trap.
  • You go over the bridge and continue straight, going past the Cennen Arms which will be on your right.
  • Continue along the road until you see the signs ahead of you on the left which will state Stables Wellbeing.
  • Turn left here, continue up the drive, keeping to the left and you will arrive at a large parking area.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
