Sri Yoga Ashram is an ashram managed by a Hindu family, so you get to live and learn in a family environment and witness the Indian culture. Decode the mysticism of Indian spirituality around chakras, Kundalini, kriya, and nadis. A better understanding makes it possible to learn and apply.

Sri Yoga Ashram likes to show India and Indian values. So there will be sightseeing on Sundays, cooking classes, Hawan, and music programs. Complimentary activities include astrology, palmistry, healing, and Ayurveda.

They conduct these sessions and workshops regularly, so you get extra benefits of learning and exploring. Group sizes are up to 15 students only for providing a better one to one training. Sri Yoga Ashram tries to maintain quality above quantity.

This Kundalini yoga teacher training course is offered in a real ashram environment where students and guests can see the real people living the principles of yoga in their own life.

The training will comprise the sessions of Kundalini yoga asanas, pranayama, Kundalini meditation, yoga philosophy, physiology of yoga, and mantra chanting.

Kundalini yoga is the most authentic and ancient style of yoga. This includes the practice of rigorous pranayama practice and serious meditation on chakras and Kundalini. There are some parts of asanas that are practiced with more awareness and breathing.

The aim here is to help the flow of prana energy in the right manner. Further, you explore the advance practice of mudras, bandhas and that really helps you get a better awareness of chakras and their energies.

Finally, the practice of Kundalini yoga requires the serious practice of meditation with kriyas (inner process) which really helps you in awakening in chakras and Kundalini in a long time. With time, you infuse all these practices of pranayama, kriya, mudra, and bandhas with some seed mantras during meditation techniques.

This way the practice becomes more and more rigorous and focus becomes more intense. The subject starts going beyond the body dimensions (Annamaya Kosha) and enters the dimension of energy (Pranamaya Kosha). Here, the focus changes from the external techniques to the awareness of chakras and their functioning. The subject starts becoming aware of the ‘prana’ movement and gets more and more control over the ‘prana’.

Ashram means a place amongst nature where everyone cares about each other and lives like a family. Sri Yoga Ashram provides exactly the same thing with the objective of common spiritual growth for all its family members.

The teachers and staff live in the same place and are always available for their students for all kinds of support. Unlike many other schools, where you get a real family environment and get to connect with your teachers and their families. This is a unique part of Sri Yoga Ashram.

This retreat course is fully residential. All the activities are conducted at the same place. So, all the yoga practice and theory classes will be conducted on the same premises.
