It's hard to describe just how much my husband and I loved our 3 nights stay at this magical resort. Perfect location for those who seek the quiet beauty of nature, perfect premise for those who love a balance of privacy and mingling, and just the perfect staff for everyone! Warm to a fault. :)

I'll go to Spice tree again and again and recommend it to everyone I meet.

I went to Spice tree with my husband right after our wedding. We booked it knowing perfectly well that it will be one hour ahead of Munnar (which meant it was going to be tiring after a flight to Kochi and directly getting to the resort). It was late evening when we reached the resort and I can't forget thinking "I hope this is the right choice", as this resort it completely back of beyond with absolutely nothing around it.But on reaching, immediately all our doubts were cleared. We chose a honeymoon spa suite, and not only was the room secluded, it had such an amazing view! Three best experiences that we had were:1. Milk and wine bath. It was done up beautifully and in the most romantic manner.2. Candle light dinner: This was arranged in a small hut, and decorated with flowers and tea lights. It was very rainy that day and was very nice of the staff to have still arranged it for us.3. Top class taste in food (South Indian cuisine). The non veg and veg cuisines were delicious. Attention has been paid to every detail and the accompaniments during breakfast are freshly prepared upon request. If you want to unwind, feel relaxed and feel pampered, and be immersed in the beauty of the place then this is the resort to go! The service was amazing, and the staff so courteous. It was such a feel good factor and worth the money spent. Would definitely recommend to all my friends visiting Munnar.Only drawback is the wifi connectivity. Kept breaking and even the new passwords wouldn't work. Also, as already mentioned, there is nothing whatsoever close to the resort so keeping a taxi during your stay to visit the tea gardens or lakes is advisable.

Tucked away in the lush hills is this small, 14 rooms, hospitable high-end resort. The amazing staff caters to your every request in a breathtaking setting nestled into the green tea country. A beautifully designed facility, the food is outstanding, prepared with the freshest ingredients and served superbly. The owners mingles with guests to constantly listen and improve service.

I loved this place, everything was top notch: its setting overlooking the forest and the valley below; The wonderfully spacious rooms, massive bathroom, big plush bed; the amazing food in the restaurant (forget about dieting here); great service.

Probably the best resort I have ever stayed in. it might be a little far from the Munnar town but the best part of the resort is the location. Rooms are awesome too, good bathroom. A special mention for the friendly staff, I went for my honeymoon and they gave us the best treatment. Loved this resort.
