Join Jessica and Anjali for this one-of-a-kind yoga experience in Bahamas from Special Interest Tours and Soul In Motion Yoga. With classes offered at all levels, and combining the various specialties of both Jessica and Anjali, this trip promises both the peace of a luxury retreat and the adventure of beachside activities. You are also invited to stay in the sanctuary of private condos and enjoy privately catered meals to further your retreat experience.
During the retreat, you will be residing at the Pineapple Fields Resort. The resort sits 100 yards from a spectacular two mile pink-powdered crescent shaped beach. With never more than a handful of people on the beach, you will think of it as your very own discovery. This is every beach bum’s paradise.
Staying at Pineapple Fields Resort is like staying at the home of good friends in the Bahamas. The perfect cross between a hotel and private home, the resort offers the personal service of a hotel in unpretentious accommodations with everything you would need down to beach chairs and towels.
Nestled on five acres of tropical landscaping, each of the 32 one and two-bedroom units features a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, a master bath with oversized marble vanity, a spacious bedroom with a king sized bed, as well as ceiling fans and air conditioning. Both front and back verandahs have tropical views and come furnished with teak furniture. Rooms feature cable television with stereo, in-room safe, telephone, free high speed internet and stack-washer and dryer.
At walking distance from your front door is the 25 acre Leon Levy Native Plant Preserve and the Ocean View Farm riding stables. Go horseback riding up and down the beach right in front of the resort.
Amenities at the Pineapple Fields Resort include an oversized, kidney-shaped outdoor pool, acres of lush landscape, a European style deli, and the hottest restaurant in the Bahamas, Tippy's, a rustic gourmet restaurant that sits right on the beach.
Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be picked up and transferred by a private vehicle to the Pineapple Fields Resort, which will be your home for the next four nights. Upon arrival, there will be time to settle into your room before the welcome yoga session. Allow your body to unwind from the journey to paradise with this afternoon yoga class on the beach. The class will conclude at sunset, so be sure to bring along your camera with your mat.
As night falls, you will gather as a group for dinner at the main house. All meals will be freshly prepared for the group. While fish will be offered at some meals, there will always be delicious vegetarian and vegan (per request) options available as well. You will end your first night with an evening workshop, guided by both Anjali and Jessica. The workshop will be focused on “rest and unwind” gentle yoga, followed by a guided aromatherapy meditation in savasana.
The day begins with a morning meditation on the beach. During the morning meditations, you will have the option of adding essential oils to your practice. Then, Anjali will lead an all-levels class, while SUP yoga group 1 have their first class with Jessica. Breakfast will be served following the yoga session. Snorkels will then be provided for all guests interested in a snorkeling excursion, as Jess and Anjali lead the group to a fun and easy snorkeling location.
After the excursion, lunch will be provided at the main house. You will then have the afternoon free to relax and explore at your leisure. There will be a second yoga session held in the late afternoon. The land class led by Anjali will be held under the banyan tree while SUP yoga group 2 has their first class with Jessica.
After dinner, there will be an energy-aroma meditation workshop with both Jessica and Anjali.
You will kick off the day with a beachside meditation (essential oils optional), followed by the morning yoga session. Anjali will offer a land class for all levels on the beach deck, while Jessica will lead a SUP yoga class with SUP group 2.
After breakfast, you will break up into your chosen activities. For those who are interested, Jessica will be leading a stand up paddle board excursion. Anjali will lead an aroma-yoga, heart-opening workshop at the banyan tree. Both workshops will be offered twice, once before lunch and once after. If guests are inclined, they are welcome to participate in both workshops.
You are also welcome to enjoy an afternoon exploring any of the various activities offered nearby, such as massages, horseback riding, scuba diving, or a tour of the Levon Levy Plant Reserve. In the afternoon, there will be another yoga session. Anjali will lead an all levels class at the banyan tree while Jessica will lead a SUP yoga class with SUP group 1.
Tonight the included dinner will be provided at the main house, but it should be noted that on Fridays, Governor’s Harbor has a popular fish fry.
This morning will start with a morning meditation on the beach, followed by a yoga session. Today, both Jessica and Anjali will be offering land classes. Anjali will lead a Power Vinyasa class on the beach deck, while Jessica will guide an energy-aroma gentle flow at the banyan tree. Breakfast will follow after which you will depart for your North Island adventure. Once in the north, you will explore the Queen’s Baths, visit the Glass Windows Bridge, which divides the dark Atlantic and bright Caribbean waters, and then picnic on the Caribbean side.
After lunch, you will visit the settlement of Gregory Town where you will have time to stroll and shop. Afternoon yoga will resume at Pineapple Fields upon your return. Jessica will lead a gentle yoga and meditation session at the banyan tree while Anjali will lead a moderate flow class, with guided savasana relaxation. Your final dinner celebration will be held at Tippy’s restaurant, which adjoins the Pineapple Fields’ property. After dinner, you will hold a farewell bonfire on the beach. You can relax and reflect, gathered by the ocean under the night sky.
Transfers will be provided to the airport as needed. For those who have time-based on their flight schedules, a morning meditation and yoga session will be offered followed by breakfast. Anjali will lead a pre-flight stretch gentle yoga class while Jessica will offer a moderate Vinyasa flow. Hotel check-out is 11:00. Please remember that this is your trip.
