Join us for a therapeutic week of yoga, relaxation, mindfulness meditation and gourmet vegetarian food all served with lashings of Spanish hospitality. Our small group well-being retreats offer you a space to explore and develop an effective individual yoga practice to work towards optimal mental and physical balance.
The Posada is a 16th-century building stylishly and exquisitely decorated in a contemporary style. The studios have en-suite bathrooms, kitchen, terrace, underfloor heating and air conditioning, a television, and Wi-Fi. There is a library, a garden with a pool (and a lemon tree), and on-site parking. This is an intimate family-run place. The second-afternoon staff speaks fluent English, Dutch, and Portuguese as well as Spanish. Situated in the town center, it is just five minutes walk from the yoga studio.
This hostel is a good choice if you are looking for affordable single-occupancy and are happy to use the local public facilities. It has two pools (open from June to September). The Hostal offers clean, simple, and attractive rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a central heating and air conditioning, and a television. All have windows, some have balconies. The Hostal is situated in the town center within a five minutes walk from the yoga studio.
During this retreat, your body and mind will heal themselves after being provided with optimal conditions. You will unleash yoga's full therapeutic power with the intensive bespoke yoga program tailored just for you. You will get full assessment, guidance, and support within small groups of six participants. This event is run by J. Manuel Ponce, a yoga teacher and trainer and UK registered osteopath and medical acupuncturist.
You will begin with a two-hour yoga class. You will enjoy dynamic movement to warm up and dispel inertia giving way to sustained postures to release stress and tension. A second session of guided meditation and relaxation in the afternoon will further deepen yoga's healing and transformative power. As a conclusion of the week's activities, you will get a 20-minute personalized home-program with two weeks of online support.
One-on-one yoga coaching, body therapies, and acupuncture will be available as additional activities for an extra cost. There will be an afternoon off allowing you to totally rest or explore the city and environs, go on excursions or self-drive.

During this retreat, you will enjoy a daily lunch and dinner. Spanish Yoga Retreat prepares freshly cooked vegetarian meals which by default include eggs, cheese, and other dairy products and nuts. Special diet requests, including vegan meals, are available upon request. Spanish Yoga Retreat also has a strong preference for locally grown organic produce and will buy directly from the grower when the option is available.
