The Dome in Alcalali is a family run place. Michele and Nestor have built a lovely Spanish finca in the middle of the beautiful mountains. Though it would not be considered as a luxury accommodation, you can expect is the charm and great energy from people who cook with love and teach with love. The white Dome was specially built for sound healing therapies, so there are great acoustics and an amazing peaceful energy inside to practice yoga.
At the Dome, there is a finca with two bedrooms, dining room, kitchen, and lounge area. In the garden, there are two more wooden cabins and an annex with two connected rooms. All bathrooms are shared and the bedrooms sleep two, three or four people (most of them are twins). A single room can be provided upon request (with surcharge). The finca and its gardens and pool area offer plenty of space to read a book or relax in private if you wish to do so.
A lot of previous guests have been amazed by how recharged they felt in only a couple of days at The Dome. The program is built for this and transforms on many levels, from different angles. It will take you on a journey which goes far beyond doing yoga. The hosts put all their hearts into creating a retreat which heals on a deep level, as this is not a job, it’s a gift from a soul to another. With a drink in your hand, you will sit around the campfire Sunday evening looking back to an inspiring retreat.
Let yourself be surprised by the healing of sound. You will walk up to an ancient mountain cave for a shamanistic ritual with a drum, flute, and meditation. You will be blown away by the amazing views surrounding you. During the retreat, you’ll experience a group sound journey with singing bowls and other healing sounds. You will also have a mantra singing evening under the stars by the candle light, all offered by Michele, Nestor, and their daughter, Charli, who are well known international sound therapists and trainers.
During this retreat, you will go on a sound healing journey to an ancient mountain cave.
This retreat will take place in Alcalali, Alicante, Spain. If you like to take a dive into the sea, the beaches of Javea, Denia, or Calpe are only 25 minutes away. For a morning run or walk you can just jump out of bed and go into the beautiful surrounding nature of the Dome.

During the yoga retreat, the cook will buy, prepare, and make the food with much thought and love. The vegetables and fruit are bought from local eco-farmers and 95 percent of all other cereal, grains, and ingredients are from fair trade. The intention of the cook is to provide the right combination of food for each meal. This will bring the body into balance and provide the energy that is needed to support the work that you will be doing.
The cook was trained by Montse Bradford in Barcelona, who is famous for her Food Sovereignty and bio-energetic training. If you like to learn more about energetic cooking, feel free to join and help in the kitchen!
A nice glass of wine is available (although not very common at yoga retreats) during lunch and dinner at no extra costs. In addition to the three meals a day, tea, fruit, water, and a daily homemade cake are at your disposal.
