Day 1: Arrive in Cochin

Your adventure begins with a welcome meeting at 17:30 on Day 1, and yoga/meditation session to follow after dinner. This will help you to sleep well. Enjoy welcome dinner at hotel. You can arrive at any time as there are no activities planned until this important meeting. Please look for a note in the hotel lobby or ask the hotel reception where it will take place. If you can't arrange a flight that will arrive in time, you may wish to arrive a day early so youre able to attend the meeting. We'll be happy to book additional accommodation for you (subject to availability). If youre going to be late, please inform the hotel reception. Well be collecting your insurance details and tipping amount at this meeting, so please ensure you have all these details to provide to your leader.

Cochin - now known as Kochi is one Indias largest ports where the misty silhouettes of huge merchant ships can be seen anchored off the point of Fort Cochin waiting for a berth in the docks of Eranakulam or Willingdon island. Dolphins can be seen in the harbor. With its wealth of historical associations - since the time it was visited by Chinese traders, Portuguese, the Dutch and the British; this city is a magical blend where you can see the oldest church in India, the cantilevered Chinese fishing nets, Jewish synagogue, and the palace built by the Portuguese.

Day 2: Cochin

Rise up early to do morning pool side yoga and meditation. After breakfast in the hotel, enjoy out of multiple optional tours provided in the city or just enjoy being lazy in the hotel. Ask your tour leader for the optional tours.

Day 3: Drive from Cochin to Munnar

Rise up early to do morning pool side yoga and meditation. After breakfast, we check out from our hotel in the morning. WepProceed on a breathtaking drive to Munnar. We will drive through spice gardens, rubber & tea plantations and winding roads. We check into our resort on arrival.

Munnar sits at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathani, and Kundala. Perched at 1600 m above sea level, this hill town was once the summer capital of British in India. Snuggling coyly in the green and serene Kanan Devan Hills; panoramic views of low flying clouds and mist filled valleys with cool bracing climate make it a pretty little haven. The famous places include the Kundale Tea Plantation, Rajmalai Park, The High Range Club, and Eravikulam National Park; home to endangered Nilgiri Tahar, Macaque, Sambar, lion, elephant, and many more.

Day 4: Munnar

Rise up early to drive to tea estate for refreshing yoga and meditation at tea garden. After the breakfast at tea garden, we visit centuries old tea plantation estate. We wear the tea leaf basket on our back and accompany the work force for plucking the tender tea leaves from the garden. We bring it to the nearby tea unit and get the leaves processed fresh tea, which you may take home as souvenir. We will also get tips on making different types of tea. Later, we come to the British time bungalow where a traditional Keralian lunch waits for us. After our lunch at the bungalow, we are driven back to your lodge. Enjoy afternoon at leisure. In the evening, we drive to watch cultural show at a theater.

Day 5: Drive from Munnar to Thekkady (Periyar)

Rise up early for yoga and meditation. We drive to Periyar after breakfast with multiple scenic view stops on the way. We check in to our lodge on arrival.

Periyar wildlife sanctuary is located around a picturesque artificial lake that was formed in 1895 by building a dam on the Periyar River. The terrain is hilly and the elevation is 6000 ft. above sea level. The lake occupies the valleys of the thickly forested hills, serving a permanent source of water for the wildlife in the park and thousands of villages in the main land. Even though the park falls under Project Tiger, the main attractions of the park are elephants. Periyar is also home to more than 60 other mammal species including tigers, bison, deer, and wild dog etc. there are over 300 species of birds and butterflies. Prominent among the birds are Cormorants, Kingfishers, Darters, The great Malabar Hornbill, and the rocket-tailed Drongoes. Evening yoga and meditation at hotels roof top.

Day 6: Thekkady (Periyar)

Rise up early to do yoga and meditation at hotels roof top. Late in the morning enjoy being lazy or drive to a nearby elephant farm. You will get opportunity to bath, feed, and ride on the back of the animal. Explore the nearby spice garden later as an option. Ask your leader for arrangement. In the afternoon, enjoy a wildlife viewing boat cruise on the Periyar Lake. Enjoy evening at leisure.

Day 7: Drive from Thekkady to Alleppey

Rise up early to do yoga and meditation in the open garden. Feel the bliss of nature. After breakfast at hotel, we check out from our resort and drive to Alleppey. Embark on the beautifully designed houseboat (locally known as Kettuvallam) and cruise on the backwaters of Kerala.

It is said when you step aboard a Kettuvallam, you step back into history. These boats are made of 100% natural materials. In earlier days, these boats were used to transport goods through the backwater cannels. The incredible lushness of the vegetation around the fresh water canals, rivulets, and lakes and the abundance of coconut trees and other exotic plants create a subtropical environment not found elsewhere on this planet. Relax and have a great time till the next morning as you cruise the amazing backwaters. The cook and other staff make sure that all your needs are taken care of, while serving you with delicious Kerala cuisine. You have also the option of taking shore excursions at one or two of the tiny rural areas. We do evening yoga and meditation under the million stars on the deck of the house boat.

Day 8: Drive from Alleppey to Kovalam

Rise up early to do sunrise yoga and meditation on the deck of the house boat. We drive to Kovalam enjoying the amazing tropical scenery along the way. We stop at Trivandrum for lunch (at your own expense) at a local restaurant. In the evening, we check in into our spa resort at Arabian Sea beach. We do sunset yoga and meditation at the beach.

Day 9: Kovalam

Rise up early to do sunrise yoga and meditation at the beach. Enjoy your day at leisure. You are allowed one complimentary visit to Ayurveda clinic within the resort for a general body massage.

Day 10: Drive from Kovalam to Trivandrum - international flight

Rise up early to do morning pool side yoga and meditation. After farewell breakfast at resort, we check out from our hotel (latest by 11:00 if not staying an extra night). We are then driven to Trivandrum International Airport. We end our services at Trivandrum Airport.

You will be accompanied by highly skilled yoga instructor and the tour leaders throughout the tour. The yoga instructors are qualified from recognized yoga institute and experienced regular practitioners.     "It was nice to have combined the cities of the golden triangle with Holi Festival in Vrindavan. This way we didn't only got to see Indian sights and places of interest, but also were able to be part of the unique Holi celebration. We also got to see the Taj Mahal under the full moon.
