Soraya Yoga Wellness Center accommodates up to 10 persons comfortably. They have the main house which has three deluxe bedrooms on the main floor and a communal living room.

On the second floor is the yoga shala, complete with 280-degree views of nature. Of the three rooms on the main floor, there are two queen size bedrooms complete with a meditation chair, desk, air conditioner, fan, private patio with a table and hammock, and ensuite bathroom with hot water shower. There is one private single deluxe room with a full-size bed, desk, air conditioner, fan, and ensuite bathroom with hot water shower.

On the same grounds, there is a bunk room with a terrace that has four single beds, air conditioner and fans, and a large ensuite bathroom with a hot water shower. Each of the beds has a wardrobe that locks to put personal belongings.

Wi-Fi is available on the premises, but please keep in mind that the connection is much slower than industrialized countries. In general, you are suggested taking a break from the digital world during your retreat so you can get back to nature. However, it is understood that there are times you need to connect with loved ones through the world wide web.

In the event that the accommodation is full, Soraya Yoga Wellness Center will arrange comparable lodging to the budget you are seeking. Any placement in housing outside of Soraya Yoga Wellness Center will be pre-arranged with guests.

Yoga classes


It is a gentle class where the long held asanas release connective tissues and stimulate chi in the meridian lines promoting health and flexibility.


Vinyasa is a dynamic and faster-paced asana practice that focuses on connecting breath with movement in each posture. It provides an opportunity to deeply link mind and body awareness.


Hatha is a practice combining breath, movement, and awareness into a series of postures that are slow moving which emphasizes alignment, flexibility, stability, strength, and balance.

FlyHigh or Aerial yoga

This type of yoga can lengthen the spine and increase flexibility using gravity and a hanging belt. It is an optimal method to perform restorative inversions and intensify grounding yoga poses.


The benefits of regular meditation practice extend beyond just improving your yoga experience. You’ll notice reduced stress in your life, calmer reactions to everyday life experiences, and richer relationships with others, nature, and your self. Find freedom from within.

Meditation is a personal journey. Everyone is welcome to participate in guided meditations, regardless of your background and or familiarity with meditation or yoga. Meditation can be a spiritual experience or simply a calming, stress and anxiety reducing practice. Discover what arises from within as you start to slow everything down and quiet the mind.

Part of this program is taking classes and meditation on the beach and enjoying the natural scenery of the tropical island, at the discretion of mother nature.


Rachael Ravinge
A mother, wife, lover, sister, and daughter, Rachael is similar to you constantly shifting and changing. After graduating from university, Rachael signed up for her first adventure moving to New York City, working for large corporations and it was there where she first traded her marathon running shoes and eventually her career for bare feet and a yoga mat. Her practice on the mat has evolved just as drastically; first connecting with hot power yoga craving the sweat and workout until she discovered the entire body, mind, and spiritual aspects of the practice which changed her life.

Retreat location

Gili Trawangan is an idyllic paradise island, offering a little slice of tropical heaven. Located one and a half hours from Bali and 10 minutes from mainland Lombok, this small island has a seven-kilometers perimeter and home to about 2,000 people. Gili does not allow any motorized vehicles on the island and the only modes of transportation are by foot, bike, and horse cart. This creates an environment that is slower paced and allows a person to truly unwind.

The ocean and coral surrounding the island are home to some of the largest amount of biodiversity in the world and are set upon white sandy beaches allowing you to fully enjoy the tropical environment, get lost in the waves and follow the current. The magical essence of these Indonesian islands is commonly known, creating an enlivening experience where true spiritual transformation can exist.

Healthy breakfasts and group dinners are included in the price of your retreat. Lunch and snacks are at an extra cost to the participant. Free water refills are provided throughout your stay. All of the food offered is vegetarian (cheese, milk, and eggs included) and predominately locally sourced. Soraya Yoga Wellness Center will be as accommodating as possible to dietary restrictions, but please give them advanced notice to any specific needs and please be aware there may be an additional fee.

Soraya Yoga Wellness Center can direct you to a trustworthy local bike shop. Riding is the easiest way to get around; to the beach, the market, or to sunset point. You can circumnavigate the island within an hour, slowly.

Watch the sunset from the beach. Chill out at the reggae bar or compete in an epic ping pong match. Come get your groove on at an ecstatic dance session or cool off with an evening of meditation in the beautiful yoga shala.

Reiki and healing sessions

Reiki level 1 and 2 certifications are being offered during this retreat for an additional cost of 300 USD. Individual energy healing sessions are also available at an additional cost of 30 USD per hour.

The islands are home to beautiful aquatic life and animals including turtles, cuttlefish, sharks, mantis shrimp, and octopus. On the island, you’ll see lizards, geckos, wild cats, domestic goats, chickens, and cows.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flights to arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). This is the most accessible international airport to the island. Over 20 different fast boat companies leave Bali every morning and cruise for one and a half hours before reaching the sandy shores of Gili Trawangan.

You can also fly into Lombok International Airport (LOP) and take a taxi to one of the ports and then cross by either local boat or private speedboat. More often than not, taking a fast boat from Bali is the most economical and easiest way to arrive at Gili Trawangan.

Arrival by ferry

The island is only reachable only by boat. Well, technically you can helicopter in, but for 99% of the people come by boat. Soraya Yoga Wellness Center is available to arrange tickets at competitive prices either via the airport or fast boat upon request. Please send an inquiry for more information and note that all transportation costs are at the expense of the participant.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 100% of the total price.
