Traveling to India 40 years ago was Brigitte's inspiration to start practicing yoga. Studying the more traditional paths (Iyengar and Ashtanga) and interlacing them with the functional Restorative yoga that she has been practicing for the past 20 years created a fruitful mix that resulted in the birth of Restorative Alignment. Some of her most influential teachers have been Clive Sheridan, Gert van Leeuwen, David McAmmond, and Vipassana teacher, S.N. Goenka. She has held a Yoga Alliance registration as E-RYT 500 and YACEP provider and has trained over a thousand new yoga teachers since 2008.
