Set on a stunning 12.5 acres, Serenity Mountain Estate, an over 10,000-square-foot estate is just close enough to home while still offering a true nature respite set in the mountains of Ramona. It is just about impossible to find something this close to San Diego proper that still offers this level of privacy, quiet, and comfort. The wide-open layout of the property gives it an even bigger feel (as if 10,000 square feet was not enough) and every room in the house boasts incredible views of the surrounding farmlands, orchards, sunrises, and sunsets.

This 9200-square-foot estate is close to idyllic hikes, world-famous Julian and apple pie shops, Mt. Woodson and Iron Mountain, boutique wineries, biking trails, helicopter rides, and horseback riding. You will drive on your own private road to a code-gate entrance. Upon arrival, you will be amazed by the stunning panoramic views of the mountains and valleys. You will love the estate because it is a sanctuary to relax and unwind. This spacious, elegant, well-lit, and private villa is located at the top of the Ramona hills. It is a beautiful resort-style property.

The villa is on two floors, providing privacy for separate families or a large group that wants to host a special occasion. The villa can accommodate a large number of guests staying overnight with additional air mattresses and sleeping bags provided by guests. The wrap-around balconies allow for panoramic views that are stunning and go on for as far as you can see, a spectacular place to practice yoga. The main level has the main kitchen with double ovens, a separate bar, bedroom, living room, and family room. There are several entertaining areas throughout the villa.

The lower level has several bedrooms, bathrooms, and a game room with a pool table and air hockey table. Both levels have big windows that will allow you to enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys. The outdoor grounds are landscaped with fruit trees, gardens with beautiful flowers and different herbs, a refreshing lap pool, lounge pool, and gorgeous drought-resistant native landscaping. There is plenty of parking on the property and accessibility to the grounds for walks and hiking opportunities.

What you will learn

Yoga

Whether you are a seasoned yogi or brand new to the practice, learn how to develop a safe and effective practice that you can take anywhere and do anytime. You will learn proper alignment, fundamentals, techniques, and progressions from SoCal Wellness Retreats's founder John Quirk, a yoga teacher with over 1000 hours of training and thousands of students taught. Their system emphasizes breath and internal awareness that the practice is therapeutic and healing as it is challenging.

Breathwork

Many people do not realize that their body’s main system of detoxification is through breathing. Breath also directly affects your central nervous system, brain, and heart coherence and can literally make your body more alkaline with just a few minutes of practice. Breath is the gateway to the subconscious mind and is an ultimate tool that you all possess but it takes skill to harness. SoCal Wellness Retreats will teach you how to use your breath to regulate multiple systems in the body and take your yoga and meditation practices to the next level.

Meditation

When you think of your physical yoga or asana practice, it is often overlooked that the yogis created the physical postures to be able to sit longer in meditation. The word 'meditation' means to become familiar with. So as you become familiar with the old self's thoughts, behaviors, and emotions,⁣ you are retiring that old self. When you have the proper formula and do this enough times, it will begin to become familiar to you. They will give you this formula.

Juice fasting

Your practices are intended to push you out of your comfort zone and help your body heal itself. Juice fasting accomplishes both. By practicing fasting, you are able to dive deeper with your yoga, breathwork, and meditation. Your body undergoes a natural detoxification process known as autophagy where the body cleans out dead or diseased cells to allow new ones to be created.

Cold therapy

Another way to deliberately put the body under stress is through cold therapy. You start with cold showers and work your way up to full ice baths. This practice has been proven to improve the body’s immune system, improve circulation, increase energy, decrease inflammation, and improve heart and skin health.

The holiday will take place in California, USA. SoCal Wellness Retreats is so honored to have Serenity Mountain Estate, a beautiful location as the new backdrop for your holiday. Whether it is hearing the sounds of coyotes and night or the chickens in the morning, you are truly connected to all the sites and sounds of nature. There are several stunning hikes within a few minutes of the property including Iron Mountain, Potato Chip Rock, and Cedar Creek Falls.

Torrey pines state beach

Any San Diegan will tell you one of the best things about living here is that you can go from the mountains to the beach in one day. It is really the best of both worlds. SoCal Wellness Retreats' favorite day trip is to head to Torrey Pines State Beach for hiking, yoga, picnics, and even a dip in the Pacific. Rated one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, it takes only 20 minutes to be smelling the ocean air.
