Villa Tanah Shanti has an on-site spa where the guests can indulge in numerous body treatments for which Bali is famous. There's also a 6 x 10-meter yoga studio which overlooks a spectacular infinity pool and the jungle ravine. The studio can also be used for workshops, dancing, art retreats, and similar events.

During this holiday, you can choose to stay either in a single, shared double or triple room.

Why Choose This Holiday

Experience

This will be SoCal Wellness Retreats' sixth time on retreat in Indonesia and each trip has been a learning experience. Having done hundreds of hours of research both online and spending months on the ground, they have been able to fully grasp the advantages and disadvantages of the different areas, excursions, attractions, shops, and restaurants. It’s like having local knowledge right at your fingertips.

Safety

While Bali is overall an extremely safe place, it’s nice to know your drivers are fully vetted and you have the support of someone who knows some key do’s and don’ts of the island. Traveling as a group provides you support and security and knowing the local customs is reassuring.

More Than Just a Vacation

Plenty of retreats offer yoga but SoCal believes to live well, we need to anchor our lives in practices. They believe in the yoga, breathwork, and meditation that they offer every day because they do it every day. They believe above all of the outside stimulation and pleasure it is truly a foundation to feeling good.

Inclusivity

They pride themselves on the fact that their retreats have been lauded as being highly accessible and inclusive. People from all walks of life, all backgrounds, all races, genders and experience levels are welcomed on their retreats.

Fun

Their only rule, you must have fun, they demand it! Laughter is important, feeling good is important, building community is important. They want you to sign up for this retreat and genuinely have the best time of your life. So, what are you waiting for?

Here's What You Will Experience

In addition to yoga, breath work, and meditation daily, you can also expect:

The adventure

Experiencing different cultures is one of the best ways to change your perspective and grasp a new appreciation for life and living. It doesn’t get much more adventurous than flying halfway around the world! Add in excursions like snorkeling, river rafting, and waterfall hikes and you’re in for quite an adventure!

The people

It’s hard not to fall in love with the bhakti, the devotion, and love of the Balinese people. Their huge smiles, helpful nature, and reverence of yogic tradition make it a warm, welcoming, and incredibly inviting experience. You’ll be amazed how “at home” you feel.

The community

Find your new tribe! They pride themselves on being a community of like-minded individuals who are seeking to feel good. Many of their guests come back on retreat multiple times. Some have become close friends and even have started businesses and organizations together! When you say yes to a SoCal Wellness Retreat you become part of their Sangha, or family.

Moving out of your comfort zone

They invite guests on all retreats to step outside of their day-to-day and into their highest selves. This only happens where your comfort zone ends. Try something new with the support of people just like you! When was the last time you said yes to something that pushed your comfort zone?

The beauty

Everything in Bali feels like something out of a dream. From the lush jungle landscapes filled with every color of flower to the rolling rice fields, the land itself is awe-inspiring. If that weren’t enough, everywhere you look there is pageantry. Art abounds as every temple and street corner are an opportunity to pay homage to the gods and wrap the world in color.

Included excursions

  • White water rafting down the Agung River
  • Sound healing at Pyramids of Chi
  • Puja at a local ashram
  • Water cleansing at Tirta Empul water temple
  • Sunrise hike up Mount Batur
  • Waterfall trek
