Sivasoorya Yoga Ashram is a wonderful heritage and eco-friendly ashram in the serene village Trivandrum, Kerala. It is the perfect place to escape the noise of the city and rest from the everyday hustle and bustle.

You can enjoy the soothing diversity of nature as all of their rooms overlook the Arabian sea. The rooms are decorated with paintings and feature a beautiful bathroom with a rain shower and bathtub.

Three types of rooms are available: cottage, jumbo deluxe room, and deluxe room with twin and triple bed. We have a fan facility in the rooms. Sivasoorya Yoga Ashram will allot the rooms according to the customer's request.

Ashrams usually represent a return to a simple way of living, which is very different from a hotel. Generally, there is a more communal atmosphere and often an expectation that guests will pitch in with whatever needs doing.

Program

Sivasoorya divine School of yoga (Ashram) which imparts spiritual training in the traditional way, with much stress on the rich heredity and heritage, is one of the rarest yoga schools in the whole of India. This school of yoga delves deep into the purport of yoga and its various aspects and offers training in a disciplined and systematic way under the training of Guru Raviji. The products of this institution are thoroughly capable of organizing class and training in yoga and meditation in a commendable way.

The service of yoga reiterates that one should not get yogic training from a physical yoga teacher of a mediocre level. On the contrary, such training shall be acquired from an accomplished spiritual preceptor. "Those who complete a training from this institution are the perceptive mission of the dissemination of the basic principles of yoga sasthra, which they have acquired through years of rigorous, rigid penance and austerity in the inaccessible Himalayan mountain valleys."

India’s contribution to Yoga is immense and has greatly contributed to its widespread popularity today.

The system has proved to have manifold applications in diverse fields of everyday human activities. It has its own unique advantages which are being scientifically proved and therefore accepted today everywhere.

However, it may be noted that the is a recent trend to the overwhelming mushrooming of unauthorized and illegal “yoga training places” which look at making yoga training as a means of making fast money. Without adhering to any of the government norms, even without proper registration documents and proper training of these “local instructors”, yoga learners are being cheated. Foreigners who come to inculcate the greatness of yoga are beguiled cleverly and are deprived of the value of their money. Thus, in short, the true value of yoga is being totally defeated at such places.

At the Sivasoorya Yoga School, we strictly follow tradition and inculcate the strictest principles laid down by our ancient gurus and practitioners of yoga. We hand over the richness of the tradition to our students, who are admitted irrespective of age, sex, culture, or any other factor, so as to preserve the pristine qualities that yoga uphold.

We provide practical and theoretical yoga sessions and have added as our special trademark Yoga Mind Therapy – the only accredited Yoga School that combines all these effects. Our Yoga techniques given to our students include several specially designed techniques to heal the various disorders that affect the mind, without using any types of medicines. We make it a point to impart such necessary knowledge to our students as well.

At our Yoga school, we provide personal care to every individual participant by our trained and qualified staff. We also provide various yoga therapies and necessary knowledge of the healing science of Ayurveda. This is also a tradition we have been strictly following over the past, making our Yoga school different and stand out as a class of its own.

%The specially trained masters effortlessly cater to the individual needs of the participants and the students, in turn, are strengthened and achieve the required mental and physical health during the course of the 28-day programmes. The result of the past 25 years of yoga training has enabled the Sivasoorya Yoga School to produce innumerable valuable yoga experts all over the world. At At the Sivasoorya Yoga School, we are proud to state that through them the richness of the yoga tradition finds true reflections through their centers which they have established in their native lands.

We, at the Sivasoorya Yoga School, cordially invite you to participate and experience the true richness; get strengthened in the right way, with every aspect that yoga has to share.

Yoga Nidra Mind Therapy

Yoga Nidra mind therapy is developed by Guru Raviji both as a preventive and curative therapy in the mind related diseases. For instance, during stress, the sympathetic nervous system becomes activated due to which the organism adopts the 'fight or flight' mechanism. In normal circumstances, the parasympathetic system takes over after the emergency goes. It has been seen that the sympathetic system remains active most of the time resulting in the experience of distress. In yoga Nidra, mind therapy is attempted to activate the parasympathetic system, and slowly a balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems is achieved by inducing complete physical, emotional and mental relaxation. In this way, the practice of yoga Nidra mind therapy counteracts many mental diseases.

Yoga Nidra has its most widespread applications as a preventive measure which can be practiced by healthy, active people to relieve accumulated tensions, stress, depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, psychosis, personality disorders, relationship issues and many emotional and mental illness can cure through yoga Nidra mind therapy. It is known as homemade psychotherapy.

During yoga Nidra (trance state) we use many powerful techniques to relieve mental illness layer by layer from the physical body, mental body, energy body, intellectual body to finally reach the supreme happiness state.
