Empower yourself with a holistic wellness routine. Partake in 1-on-1 consultations with a trained yoga teacher. The course offers guidance from the 5 Points of Yoga in the Sivananda tradition and the 4 Paths of Yoga.
You will be accommodated in a private room with shared same-gender bathroom.
Parvati Dufour is a trained 200-hour Sivananda Yoga Instructor and a student in the 800-hour Sivananda Yoga Health Educator Training. For over two decades, yoga has helped her in navigating stress. She now works with clients to help them holistically overcome stress, anxiety, and negative emotions, and cultivate a healthy lifestyle. She leads this program under the guidance of a C-IAYT certified Yoga Therapist mentor.
You are welcome to stay for satsang and soup 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
Swami Sivasankariananda, C-IAYT, director of the Los Angeles Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, served as director of the San Francisco Center from February of 2015 to September 2019. She returned to LA where she lived for 20+ years. She completed her TTC at the Yoga Farm in 1997 and ATTC there in 2008. Swamiji has been on yatra in north and south India and Mount Kailas. She loves to teach and is particularly fond of the Bhakti yoga practices. She took sannyas in 2017 and is a certified yoga therapist.
Radha completed the Sivananda Yoga Teacher Training Course (TTC) in 2014, Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in 2017, and began the 800-hour Sivananda Yoga Health Educator Training in 2019. She has assisted Hatha Yoga, Kirtan and Mantra chanting in TTC in Ashrams and Centers in California, New York and Vietnam. She particularly enjoys kirtan, storytelling, mantra chanting, puja ceremonies and japa practices.
