Come and join SivamalmeYoga to Malmefjorden in North-West Norway for amazing yoga and hiking retreat. You will be staying in a cozy old house from the 1960's, mostly kept in the style from back then. You will have a practice of Sivananda yoga every day, and for Friday and Saturday, there will be a mountain walk which will last for about four to five hours. If you like nature and yoga, and if you are not too dependent on luxury and material goods, you will absolutely love this place.

Accommodation

The accommodation in the house is altogether three bedrooms. One of the bedrooms is a small one with one single bed, the second has two single beds, and the third one has one double bed and two extra mattresses.

  • 20:30 Meditation by the sea (silent walk), or indoors

Friday

  • 06:30 Sivananda yoga asana class
  • 08:30 Simple breakfast / oatmeal porridge with nuts and honey, or other healthy and tasty snacks to go with it of your own choice
  • 10:00 Hike into the local mountainous nature with a packed lunch you make your own
  • 16:00 Simple vegetarian dinner (time may change, depending on when you return from the hike)
  • 19:00 Gentle Sivananda yoga class
  • 20:30 Meditation by the sea (silent walk), or indoors

Saturday

  • 06:30 Sivananda yoga asana class
  • 08:30 Simple breakfast / oatmeal porridge with nuts and honey, or other healthy and tasty snacks to go with it of your own choice
  • 10:00 Hike into the local mountainous nature with a packed lunch you make your own

Siv is a certified Sivananda yoga teacher and the owner of the YogaStua place. She is also an experienced hiker. In September 2015, she also took the course GroovyKids Yoga with Greville Henwood at PuroYoga in Oslo. In February 2016, she completed her exam in advanced yoga teacher training course in Kerala, India. In April 2016, she got her certification as a Yoga Alliance RYT-500 yoga teacher.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Molde Airport (MOL). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request.

Arrival by train

After reaching Åndalsnes station, you will have to go by a corresponding bus from there to Molde. You will be picked up by SivamalmeYoga, as you go off the bus on Lergrovik bus stop.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
