The most wonderful couple own this hotel and were so accommodating on my vacation providing me with tips and places I must see while in Costa Rica. The hotel itself is just beautiful, very clean and inviting. Breakfast is served daily with some of the freshest juiciest fruits Costa Rica has to offer. This is an experience you do not want to miss out on! I will most definitely be back with my man, Ivan on my future trips to Costa Rica.

My boyfriend and I visited Sirena Serena to ring in the 2016 new year. The hotel's owners also own Kelly's Surf Shop, which made this retreat a perfect pairing since Kelly's Surf Shop is my favorite place in Tamarindo to rent surfboards from. Jess and Sebastian were lovely hosts and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was up to par. They sincerely care about the quality of your trip and make themselves available at all times to ensure this. The open kitchen outside is a perfect place to bring groceries back to with enough supplies to grill and create your own meals. The pool is a great place to relax at after spending the morning surfing to catch up on a good book. The walk from the hotel to the main area of town is only about 5-10 minutes, which makes it very easy to go back and forth when privacy and rest is desired.

I stayed here for a yoga retreat and the hospitality was incredible! The place is owned by this adorable couple with a passion for showing guests the best of Tamarindo from scheduling zip line tours, personal surf lessons, waterfall tours, and recommendations for all the go to places in town. Thanks for making our trip so memorable!

We always choose to stay at the big resorts around town, this time we chose Sirena Serena based on a recommendation from a friend. I am sure glad we gave it a try. What a hidden gem. The place does not look like anything special from the outside, in fact, you may not even know it is there, I think they do that for a reason, but the inside and the rooms are immaculate. They thought of every detail. I love the decor and vibe. You can find the owners constantly interacting with their guests and the cleaning lady is just lovely. This is a place you want to go and relax; they have a nice pool area and garden. It is not right downtown but I actually enjoyed the 5-minute walk as a plus by being five minutes from downtown the place feels like it is a sanctuary, I sure didn't miss hearing loud music from the bars until 2:00 a.m. We even got some discounted rates on surfing and tours which of course is a plus. The rates are competitive with that of the other places I have stayed in town and I would definitely recommend this place. See you soon.

This quaint little hotel was a last minute find for us, and we are so happy we found it! It is just far enough from the noise of town, but still close to everything. There is a great shared patio area where breakfast is offered each morning, and a beautiful pool to relax in after a long day at the beach. (This was the best part for our 6-year-old!) Our room was perfect- comfy, clean, and had an air conditioner. Finally, the most important element at Sirena Serena is the owners. Sebastian and Jess couldn't be more friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They and their staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay in Tamarindo. We can't wait to go back!
