I recently completed Sin City's immersive yoga teacher training 200 hour course (Jan-Feb 2015) which was held in Costa Rica and it was incredible!I found the course well structured, varied and the materials provided were very useful and aided our learning. We got to cover a range of areas and I now feel prepared and confident in my ability to teach yoga to others. I learned a lot about yoga, myself and met some amazing human beings on this part of my journey. The location added to the experience too, Angelica's chosen a really beautiful part of the world to host this course, with stunning accommodation, delicious food, excursions and more. For anyone who's in 2 minds about whether to sign up for this course - just do it! You'll be so happy you did!The course leader, Angelica, is a very experienced yogi with an extensive training background. Angelica was very professional, friendly and made the course really fun! She gave illustrative and physical examples to help us learn and relate to the various areas of study and we covered a range of topics. I found Angelica very inspirational, motivational and she has restored the faith I had lost in myself - thank you Angelica!

Sin City Yoga is owned by Angelica, who is the best yoga teacher I've found in two cities now. I've personally only taken classes taught by her, but I'd put my faith in any teacher she hired. Classes here are unique in that it's challenging and fun all at once. You quickly feel like you're a regular and like you're hanging out with a group of friends who will support you - esp. when you're trying a difficult pose. Angelica also likes to incorporate fun things like flowers, tea lights, and live music, which def. sets this studio apart from other classes I've taken.
SCY is great about keeping an updated class schedule on their website, and classes are 90 minutes each. They're offered at a wide range of times, and once a month, the studio hosts "Happy Hour" sort of events where you do yoga and then drink. Kind of a great win-win. If you're looking for a yoga studio in Vegas, I'd def. start here first!

I went to this studio for the first time yesterday. It's an adorable converted garage next to a zen garden. The studio is extremely clean and quaint with great energy. The students and instructors are very friendly. You can tell you are walking into an existing family that is very welcoming. I took the 'Take It Easy' yoga class with Angelica and 'Vinyasa Flow' with Nina so far. Both instructors were great and very hands on which I appreciate. I look forward to practicing on a regular basis with this studio.

I can't say enough good things about the Sin City Yoga Teacher Training program. I was lucky enough to be able to participate in the immersion program in Costa Rica and it was amazing. It was truly life changing and that is not something I say lightly. I would definitely recommend Sin City yoga to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable unique studio this is really the place for you. Plus they have events such as happy hours and have community outreach programs so that you can be more involved in the yoga community.
