Retreat location

Ready to celebrate summer’s return? Get back into the awe-inspiring wildness of nature; Your skin being kissed by the sun; The simple joys of sleeping under the stars lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves.

The Lost Coast is a wildland of old-growth forests, mountains, waves, and sand. This 25 mile-long stretch of coastline is on the bucket list of many avid backpackers, with its tide-pools teaming with life, and spring-time wildflower-covered hills and bluffs. On the retreat, you’ll be wowed by exceptional views of King Range, its peaks soaring 4,000 feet above the Pacific, and wildlife viewing opportunities. Sea lions, elephant seals, river otters, eagles, elk, bobcats, and more all grace this remote and mostly undeveloped portion of the California coast.
