During this training, you will stay in a shared room at the Pops Resort. The resort offers ashram-type accommodations with 25 rooms spread over 28,000 square feet. You’ll experience a beautiful view, from almost every room of the Dhauladhar mountain range, the greater Himalayas, and surrounding areas.

You can relax in the comfort of your own private room with an attached bathroom, including a hot and cold shower. You can also enjoy full access to Wi-Fi connection.

You will be making new friendships that last a lifetime. Although your fellow yogis may come from various nationalities, you have all been brought together by the love of yoga.

Friendships forged during yoga teacher training are very special. This is a period of great transformation for everyone. You will learn a lot from each other’s experiences and stories, which will enrich your yoga journey even further. To help forge these deep connections, all yogis enrolled in teacher training will stay on-site together.


This program stretches beyond the physical practice of yoga and dives into the mental and spiritual side, as well. You will be pushed beyond your limits in all areas of life, providing you with the opportunity to grow as a yogi and a human being. From the history of yoga to human anatomy and physiology, you will cover topics you didn’t even know existed.

This training course follows comprehensive Yoga Alliance guidelines, and complements these with rich teachings of traditional yoga that have been handed down to Indian yoga gurus from their ancestors. This creates a deeply yogic environment, going beyond the asanas to provide a comprehensive learning experience to students. This is not a training course that simply has its students practice for eight hours a day.

As a graduate of Siddhi Yoga, you will be certified by one of the largest and most-trusted names in yoga teacher training internationally. Your training also qualifies you for a Yoga Alliance certification. Siddhi Yoga International Teacher use a third party accreditation agency to ensure the quality and international standards are met.

This is a course that will help students become teachers, as well as cultivate a solid physical and spiritual practice. This is a breath-based instructor training, which means your breath will guide you through the proper posture. The improper use of the muscles involved in breathing, such as the diaphragm, leaves other muscles strained with overuse, a prime physiological reason for muscle stress injuries.

However, an undeveloped breathing pattern is a powerful source of numerous psychological problems as well. This is why, along with the proper poses and counter-poses, specific pranayama practices will be taught to bring the body into perfect equilibrium.

Postural adjustment through yoga asana is a traditional and unique scientific practice. Yoga teachers and therapists with knowledge of this specific technique can help practitioners use their bodies in a more balanced and correct way, both in their yoga practice as well as daily life.

Additionally, you will be taught the importance of a proper muscle warm-up to prevent injury and help future students into poses more safely. We’ll discuss the use of props like blocks, blankets, chairs, bolsters, etc. to reap the full benefits of asana and to promote healing and recovery from injuries while aiding in proper bodily alignment.

Siddhi Yoga’s Teacher Training is the perfect environment to step outside your comfort zone and explore new aspects of yourself. The calming environment will help you tune out and tune in to your deepest self. You’ll have the opportunity to rediscover and reinvent yourself.

You will experience yoga as a lifestyle instead of a simple practice, and you’ll leave ready to begin the journey of your career as a yoga teacher. You will practice meditation, chakras, and pranayama.

You’ll go from practicing yogi to full-time yogi in the course of a month. However, your instructors want to make sure you maintain balance in your life. Siddhi Yoga International have created the program to include excursions and free time to explore your surrounding area. You will hold bonfires, prayer sessions, and kirtan, and there are plenty of other activities around the city to keep you busy each weekend.

Saturday afternoons and all day Sundays are free for you to enjoy and bask in all that Dharamsala has to offer. From Mcleodganj markets to Buddhist monasteries and healthy cafés to journeys through tea gardens, Dharamsala has so much beauty to explore.

Most of the training we have at least three teachers, in case a teacher is missing or not available, then the lead trainer will take over the role. It is important to consider that for this training, checkout will be the next day after the last date.


Through this training, you will be able to plan a powerful class, teach a 60, 75, or 90-minute class, be an effective and inspiring instructor, modify poses to accommodate injuries or limitations, inspire and motivate your students, and learn to identify areas, both physical and emotional, where your students need help.

You will also learn to use therapeutic yoga to alleviate pain, use the body in a therapeutic way in yoga practice and daily life, deal with physical injuries in a yoga class, combine the scientific and artistic aspects of Vinyasa yoga to create sequences that are healing on all levels of the mind, body, and soul, as well as understand the different systems of the human body studied under anatomy and physiology.

After the course, you will be able to perform and teach all 30 traditional Hatha yoga asanas with correct sequencing along with pranayama, meditation, and chanting and establish a regular meditation practice to guide others in a proper meditation.

Multistyle Yoga Teacher Training

This certificate is for multi-style yoga where you will get a chance to learn Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, alignments, teaching methodology along with the philosophy and history behind it.

The main emphasis of the 200-hour training is on the therapeutic aspect of yoga using Hatha and Vinyasa yoga styles. Exposure to different styles will allow you to decide which style you would like to pursue more deeply.

You will learn Hatha Yoga or the yoga of body and mind purification, Vinyasa yoga, Jnana yoga or the yoga of enquiry, Karma yoga or the yoga of action, Bhakti yoga or the yoga of devotion, Mantra yoga or the yoga of recitation, Kundalini yoga or the yoga of energy, and Raja yoga or the yoga of meditation.

Yogi Tara has been practicing yoga since his childhood and has studied Raja, Hatha, and Ashtanga yoga. His formal university education began with studying Sanskrit in which he obtained both a Bachelors and Masters degree at the Sanskrit University Haridwar. He went on to further this education and follow his true calling by also completing a Masters in Yogic Science and Vedic Philosophy at the same university. His passion for teaching began early on in life when he started to give Asana classes.
Dr. Amrita Sharma
Well known for her teachings worldwide, Dr. Amrita has trained thousands of aspiring yoga teachers in different parts of the world. She delivers lectures and seminars on various topics such as Ayurveda, naturopathy, stress management, chakra healing, yoga, and meditation, as well as conducts special workshops on women welfare. She studied Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery from an eminent university in India, after which she continued to enhance her knowledge through Ayurvedic research.

Retreat location

This teacher training will take place at the Pops Resort in Dharamsala, India. The small city of Dharamsala is surrounded by the Dhauladhar mountain range of the Himalayas. Its high altitude presents a breathtaking view of the majestic mountains and the scenic Kangra Valley below.

Tall pines and rhododendron offer a panoramic view of the entire area. With chants coming from various monasteries in and around Dharamsala, this is a truly spectacular environment to embark on your exciting and transformative yoga journey with Siddhi Yoga.

Dharamsala is home to the Dalai Lama, along with many Tibetans who have taken refuge in Mcleodganj, a part of this small city in Himachal Pradesh, India.

The name Dharamsala comes from the loose translation, dwelling of spirituality. And the town holds true to its name. The area has a number of Buddhist monasteries and temples dedicated to Hindu gods and goddesses.

There are many attractions in and around Dharamsala besides yoga and temples, too. From one of the world’s most beautiful cricket stadiums, to trekking through the Dhauladhar mountain range, there really is something for everyone in this beautiful town. Dharamsala provides a unique experience and ideal environment to immerse oneself into the yogic lifestyle while enjoying an exciting and life changing vacation!

Three daily vegetarian meals will be served during this training. The yoga diet is all about aligning with nature and learning to eat in a way that connects you with yourself and the planet.

Because a nourished body forms a healthy foundation for one’s mind and emotions, Siddhi Yoga will provide you with fresh, vibrant cuisine, and a mix of healing and grounding meals.

Think abundant salads, mixed vegetable dishes, soups, daal, rice, and plenty of fresh local fruits. The aim is to create balance and strength in the body and to heal the organs, tissues, muscles, and bones that will be working hard for your month of training and beyond.

Given that there are not many options for dining outside the resort, all meals will be provided on campus including Saturday and Sunday. You’ll just need to inform Siddhi Yoga in advance on Friday evening if you will be eating on campus that weekend.

Many students often leave on the weekends to go sightseeing, trekking, shopping, so your hosts want to ensure no food is wasted. Weekend meals are complimentary from Siddhi Yoga.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

%Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). From there you can take a domestic flight to Gaggal Airport (DHM). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Siddhi Yoga International will pick you up from the airport.

There are two flights from Delhi to Dharamshala: one from Air India, with one flight a day, and and one from Spicejet with one flight a day, occasionally a second. Both flights start in the morning with an hour difference.

Arrival by bus

Upon arrival to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), you can take a bus from Delhi to Dharamshala. Busses depart around 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. every day and reach Dharamshala early in the morning.

Bus tickets cost around 1200 INR. Siddhi Yoga International can assist you to book your ticket. Bus booking options are available one month before the travel date. You can take a pre-paid taxi from the airport to the reach bus boarding point at Delhi.
