The 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training program is perfect for those who have completed the 200-hour yoga teacher training program. It will take place at Siddha Yoga Peeth located at the heart of Rishikesh. You will be able to dig deeper into the art of yoga and learn many things from theory to practice and everything in between.

The accommodation provided is similar to an ashram with an in-room bathroom, Wi-Fi connection, and required toiletries.

The learning objectives of this course is so that participants will learn the connection between breath, body, and mind. By the end of this program, students are also expected to learn the right alignment, experience the effect of a flow practice, experience breathing in a flow practice, connecting breath with asanas, while also exploring spontaneous and conscious breath. Additionally, participants will be taught about the preparations of meditation and how asana and pranayama contribute to meditation.

In this course, you will also learn advance traditional practices of Hatha yoga, Vinyasa flow, Ashtanga flow, advance authentic meditation, and relaxation (Nidra yoga) techniques. There will also be an introduction to Ayurveda included in this training. The 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training program will be divided in 4 parts.

Part 1

Part one includes yoga philosophy class that will be explained in authentic books of yoga like Patanjali Yoga Sutra, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Gheranda Samhita, Shiva Yoga Pradipika, Bhagavad Gita, and more.

Part 2

Part two includes practice and discipline of various areas such as Surya Namaskara, pranayama, shatkarma, Nidra yoga or meditation, asana, standing series, forward bends, twist, seated postures, inversions, and arm balances.

Part 3

Part three includes the introduction of Ayurveda and human anatomy and physiology in relation to yogic practices.

Part 4

Part four includes teaching methodology and practice, yoga teacher etiquette, and yogic lifestyle and discipline (Yamas and Niyamas).

    At the age of 21, he studied astrology, numerology, and his normal academic studies. After completing college, he started at a job, but decided to pursue yoga instead. He took the initiation from Avdhoot Baba Shivananda and started his intense practice. Shailendra moved to Rishikesh to further enhance his journey and advance his level of Sadhna and yoga practice.

    Om Dwivedi was born and raised in the town of Rishikesh and started studying yoga at the young age of 14 years old. His yoga journey started in 1990 guided by his spiritual guru. He has conducted numerous yoga workshops and yoga training sessions for groups and individuals all over the travel industry in Rishikesh and has started his own yoga studio, Yoga Chakra Rishikesh.
