Yoga
To get your mind and body ready for the day you will start the morning with yoga or natural movement class. It will improve your concentration, flexibility, strength, awareness, and good mindset. Of course, a delicious breakfast should not be missing! In order to optimize our offer for you, we have decided to create different packages, depending on your current kite level and needs.
Kitsuef course
For pure beginners or kiters who are not independent yet, SicilyKiteHoliday has created a seven-hour kite course, where, accompanied by their IKO-certified instructors, you will learn all maneuvers to practice kitesurfing safely and independently.
In the first lesson, they will teach you the important parts of the theory regarding wind theory, kite setup, and safety systems. Afterward, they will get you in the water, where you will learn the safe piloting of the kite, the different body drags, preparatory exercises for starting with the board, and the first rides. The lessons will be held in groups of two students with the same level.
Independent riders, on the other hand, have the option of either renting equipment for three days or bringing their own and having seven days of storage and access to the spot included. Both options include two hours of group lessons where every rider has the possibility to improve his own skills and to work on new tricks! It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or an independent rider - at the end of the camp, everyone will get his IKO certification, which shows your acquired kite level.
Climbing excursions
As Sicily is not just famous for its windy spots, but even for the magnificent rock climbing, a good friend and experienced climber Davide, known as “Zio”, will take you out for an interesting and funny climbing excursion in the middle of Sicily's fairytale landscape, where everyone, whether experienced climber or pure beginner, can face the incredible challenge of this sport!
Sailing tour
To let you recover from all the sporty activities we planned for you a one-day boat trip with a delicious lunch included. On board of his sailing boat “Maria Christina”, your “Capitano”, Maurizio, will bring you out to the Aegadian Islands. You will anchor in some of the most beautiful coves of the islands Favignana and Levanzo, where you can dive in crystal waters, swim on shore, or simply stay on board and enjoy the view of those beauties!
Erice excursion
To see some more of Sicily’s historical beauties we bring you to Erice! From Trapani you will take the cableway to reach this magic village where we will stroll through the narrow alleys, reaching spots where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Sicily and stopping in Erice’s best and oldest pastry shop to taste all the delicacies.
Dinners
This brings you to the last part - three dinners together will offer you a culinary journey through Sicilian cuisine - from a nice “get to know” dinner at the kite spot to the exquisite Slow Food restaurant nearby the antique fish market in the center of Marsala, until the “Sicilian Mamma”, who will cook for us her delicious plates at her private place. The REAL “Dolce Vita”!
