Come and join Shuniya Yoga on this weekend so you can learn to develop the internal quiet that offers numerous and profound benefits, such as awakening the body’s innate self-healing potential and facilitating self-knowledge and self-transformation. In the state of "shuniya" you can uncoil your own potential, so you can experience for yourself that nothing has to come from the outside: all is in you, you are the storehouse of your totality.
During this retreat, you will be staying at Villa Varia, hosted by Prabhu Anand Kaur (Ingrid Klabbers). This villa is situated in a beautiful natural reserve close to the Pellenberg Hospital, but is at the same time easily accessible from Leuven and Tienen. The energetic place which has come to exist here is described by others as a home, an oasis, and a place to find peace.
This place has come into existence very organically, both through the cooperation with Japjeet Rajbir Kaur Khalsa (who runs a three day retreat every four to six weeks) and through the Kundalini yoga level one training ran by Hari Krishan Singh.
You may choose to sleep in a yurt, yoga room or shared double room.
The objective set for this yoga weekend retreat is to attain the "shuniya" state, through daily Kundalini yoga classes, from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and evening meditation sessions. Shuniya means 'zero', 'nothing', and describes a state of awareness in which the mind is brought to complete stillness, perfect harmony, neutrality, and peaceful calm. It is a state of emptiness, where no positive or negative is assigned to things: there is no good or bad, there is no trying, no searching, no desire, no wanting. There is nothing. From the state of shuniya things can simply unfold, without you having to 'try' or 'do' anything. You just create the required empty space and then watch how things happen and unfold.
This retreat is suitable for total beginners as well as people with experience in Kundalini yoga and meditation, and is open to both men and women of all ages and from all backgrounds.
This retreat will take place in Pellenberg, Belgium. Pellenberg is a small town located in the most western part of the municipality of Lubbeek, in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant.
