Students who complete their subsequent trainings are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

Who can join?

This course is open to anyone with a desire to deepen and expand their knowledge of traditional Vinyasa yoga. It’s ideal for those who have done a previous training, and have a preexisting Vinyasa Primary Series practice. This 200-hour teacher training program is suitable for those that would like to teach Vinyasa yoga, as well as those that would just like to develop their practice and learn more!

Classes run from 6:30 a.m. to about 5:30 p.m. daily. Your time will be spent between asana, theoretical, and practical classes. Please note that the schedule above is an example and timings may change. During Saturdays, you will have only half day classes and Sundays are your days off. Use this time to relax, study and enjoy your surroundings.

Karma Yoga (selfless service)

In the weekdays, you will be engaged in voluntary Karma Yoga. This will be a short time either before or after classes. Karma Yoga, the yoga of selfless action, will help you to learn and practice yoga holistically.

Check-in and check-out

Please feel free to check-in any time from 10 a.m. The day is dedicated for you to settle in. Shree Hari Yoga will hold an introduction and orientation opening ceremony for your information, followed by a welcome dinner from 5:30 p.m. onwards.

On the last day, Shree Hari Yoga will hold a closing ceremony before your departure, where you will get your certificates. You have time to prepare everything to leave on this day. They welcome any feedback at the end. Check-out time is 1 p.m., but you may join activities throughout the day as desired. They will hold your belongings safely.

Shree Hari Yoga provides three healthy, energy-boosting meals per day, from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is a holiday for staff and students and they encourage you to try some of the delicious food on offer in the surrounding area.

The kitchen staff pride themselves on their local, fresh, seasonally-appropriate ingredients. They aim to give you all the energy you need for this intensive time. Let them nourish your soul and fill your body with prana-supporting meals!

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Approximately 35 kilometers away from Rishikesh the nearset airport is Jolly Grant Airport (DED) at Dehradun. Frequent daily flights are available of popular carriers like Air India, Spice Jet, and Jet Airways from New Delhi (DEL).

For Rishikesh, there are also frequent popular flights available from Lucknow to Dehradun. After reaching Dehradun airport, you can opt for bus service or taxi which is easily available to reach Rishikesh. This will take a short period of around half an hour.

Arrival by bus

Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi. Everyday buses depart for Rishikesh from Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi in the morning and late evenings. As per your convenience, you can choose a regular, deluxe or a luxurious coach.

Arrival by train

From Rishikesh the nearest railhead is in Haridwar which is approximately 25 kilometres away. Haridwar, is linked to major Indian cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, and Varanasi.

Some of the popular trains are Shatabadi Express, Jan Shatabdi, AC Special Express and Mussoorie Express. If you are travelling to Rishikesh, Shree Hari Yoga are advising upto Haridwar travel by train and then either take a bus or hire a taxi to Rishikesh from Haridwar. To reach Rishikesh bus will take about 45 minutes and taxi will reach you in about half an hour.
