Practices of Hatha yoga are designed to align and calm your body, mind, and spirit in preparation for meditation. The Hatha yoga practice emphasizes proper diet, processes to internally purify the body, proper breathing and its regulation particularly during the yoga practice, and the exercise routine consisting of asanas (bodily postures). Hatha yoga is a tool for holistic health. It is the first step you do to reach higher stages of yoga and to experience your asthma, your real self, samadhi - moksha.

Accommodation

The priority of Shree Hari Yoga is to provide you with comfortable, safe, and clean accommodation that is located close to the yoga shala. Rooms are either shared between two people or private, depending on your preference. Simple, cozy rooms are the perfect respite for rest and relaxation. Step out of your door straight into nature and fall asleep with the sound of the ocean or trees blowing in the breeze. A warm, salty breeze from the ocean or the fresh air with its mountain energy will fill your soul with happiness and calm.

Program

The methodology sometimes includes sequences such as the Surya Namaskara, or ‘sun salutation’, which consists of several asanas performed as a fluid movement sequence. The aims of Hatha yoga have traditionally been the same as those of other varieties of yoga. They include physical siddhis (special powers or bodily benefits such as slowing age effects) and spiritual liberation (moksha, mukti).

In the 20th century, techniques of Hatha yoga, particularly the asanas (physical postures), became popular throughout the world as a form of physical exercise for relaxation, body flexibility, strength, and personal concentration to focus the mind. Please feel free to check-in any time from 10:00 a.m. The day is dedicated to you to settle in. Shree Hari Yoga will hold an introduction and orientation opening ceremony for your information, followed by a welcome dinner from 5:30 p.m. onwards. On the last day, they will hold a closing ceremony before your departure, where you will get your certificates.

You have time to prepare everything to leave on this day. They welcome any feedback at the end. Check-out time is 3:00 p.m., but you may join activities throughout the day as desired. They will hold your belongings safely. Classes run from 06:30 a.m. to about 5:30 p.m. daily. Your time will be spent between asana, theoretical, and practical classes. Saturday, you will have only half-day classes and Sundays are your days off. Use this time to relax, study, and enjoy your surroundings.

Who can join?

This course is open to anyone with a desire to deepen and expand their knowledge of traditional Hatha yoga. It is ideal for those who have done previous training, but Hatha is a great starting point for beginners as well. It is are also suitable for those who are not yet ready for the intensity or commitment of a 200-hour training but still want the opportunity to broaden their knowledge base.

Karma yoga (selfless service)

On the weekdays, you will be engaged in voluntary Karma yoga. This will be a short time either before or after classes. Karma yoga, the yoga of selfless action, will help you to learn and practice yoga holistically.

Food

During this course, you will be served three vegetarian meals per day and tea or water from Monday to Saturday. Saturday has no dinner. Sunday is a holiday for all involved staff and students.
