The 200-hour yoga program at Shivoham Yoga is registered with Yoga Alliance. This program is created to teach you various aspects of yoga from asana, pranayama, teaching methodology to planning, and sequencing a yoga class with anatomy. This comprehensive curriculum also covers yoga philosophy based on the yoga sutras, yogic lifestyle and ethics, yogic diet, physiology for yoga teachers and practitioners, among other topics related to the practice of cultivating a balanced life.
Shivoham Yoga School strongly encourages you to bring your own creativity into your teaching practice. By the end of the course, you will be ready to practice Hatha and Vinyasa flow as self-practice and be ready to teach classes based on this style of yoga, along with creating your own Vinyasa flow sequences with various themes and teach yoga anywhere in the world.
The Yoga Institute is set back from the main road but only a fifteen-minute walk to the River Ganga, nestled in the middle of beautiful Rishikesh it allows you to relax and enjoy the sound nature while remaining free from any external disturbances, noises. It is a safe and welcoming space of self-discovery where you can truly escape and connect with your inner-self.

This program is the first step aspirants take to deepen their Yoga practice, whether your goal is to start teaching yoga and make it a career or it ’s a journey to immerse yourself in spirituality both are welcome. Note: At the end of the course there will be a written as well as practical exam and full participation is expected from students in all classes. Attendance in all classes is mandatory and compulsory, if you fail to do so there is a possibility that you will receive a Certificate of Participation whereas full participation students with receive certificate of completion.
Keeping the requirements of Yoga Alliance - USA, 200-hour YTT program follows an intense schedule where almost 6 to 7 training hours in a day are assigned to some aspect of yoga. You may find the training intensive but transformational.
Born in Pune, dynamic and cheerful Rimi Sodhi is a yoga instructor who said goodbye to the corporate world and namaste to her yogic journey which began at the age of 26. Her teaching skills specialize in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Spirituality struck her at the tender age of 8 when she and her friends would meditate every weekend under the guidance of their Spiritual Mentor. She is a classically trained dancer and singer who carries her zen den to every corner of the country providing yoga sessions in schools, corporates, studios and has taught at some yoga training courses in Goa, Dharamsala.
A carrier of immense knowledge, the young, dedicated, and disciplined, Vivek is a magnificent yoga teacher with his roots in the yoga capital Rishikesh. Vivek found his calling in yoga at a very young age. What began as a mere physical practice, led to a life-transforming journey for Vivek when he experienced the joy of being one with the source. He gained expertise from renowned yoga masters in different styles of yoga such as Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Iyengar. His ardency has taken him to further pursue a yoga master’s degree at the Uttarakhand Sanskrit University.
With his roots in the traditional Hindu family, Sachin started his yoga journey at the age of 15. He is well acquainted with Bhakti yoga and has met many spiritual masters and through these encounters, his yoga practice has deepened and he has become a master of yoga methodology. He conducts classes in Rishikesh and is one of the core team members at Shivoham Yoga. His classes focus on proper alignment and flexibility. Sachin is well versed in asanas and understands the biomechanics of the body. Sachin helps in optimizing the use and avoiding injuries of muscles while performing asanas.
