Some of the classes of the beginners course are held in conjunction with our yoga teacher training and graduate program. This course provides a perfect opportunity to expand your yoga practice in a relaxed and tranquil environment. If a beginners course student would like to take his practice forward, and go deeper to get more experience, he could join the yoga teacher training course (200, 300 or 500 hours).

Master Naveen Techno Yogi was born in Uttar Pradesh State located in northern India. He is a specialist of yoga asana, pranakarshan pranayama, savita meditation, Naad yoga, relaxations, and advance pranic healing. At the age of 21, he won a gold medal in Uttarakhand Yoga Championship and participated in various other national and international yoga championships.
Naveen yogi earned his B.Sc. in yogic science and postgraduate diploma in yogic science from the renowned university, Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidalaya, Haridwar. He also has a keen interest in the field of technology that lead him to take his master's degree in computer science with an interdisciplinary research entitled "Yoga and Computer Technology." When it comes to mixing words with movement, Naveen uses deliberate fast-paced diction, detailing every movement in a way that is remarkably fluid and accurate.
Master Sandeep Yogi was born in the north state of India, called Uttar Pardesh. He is the founder director of Shiva Yoga Valley. He is a specialist of yoga asana, pranayam, mudra, bandh, and meditation relaxations. He studied at Gurukul Kangri in Haridwar and graduated with a degree in traditional yoga art. He also studied Veda, Upnishads, Bhagvat Geeta, Yogasutra, English, and Sanskrit languages. He now continues his inquiry and is studying for a masters degree in yoga art.

He is a certified by the World Yoga Alliance as a 200 and 500 hours yoga teacher.

After completing his studies, he dedicated his life to yoga and meditation. Since 2001, he has been regularly practicing yoga and meditation. He has also studied and practiced Naturopathy.

This is a well-known bathing ghat on the bank of the Ganga in the city of Rishikesh. In the evening, devotees sing song in adoration to the Gnaga and float in the river with hands full of flowers with lighted eastern lamps. This presents a very enchanting scene of the tourists and devotees. According to the legend, in ancient times, this place was the confluence of three mountain streams and it came to be known as Triveni Ghat.
It is close to Triveni Ghat, a grand temple of Lord Vishnu. As it was the place of penance of God Ram's younger brother Bharat, it came to be known as Bharat temple. The presiding deity of this temple is Lored Narayana and inscriptions say that this temple was renovated by Shankaracharya, the great theologian of the 8th century.
This Jhula is built over Ganga en-route from Rishikesh to Devprayag, at a distance of 4 kilometers from Rishikesh. This bridge connects the borders of the areas of Tehri and Pauri. The legend is that Ram Chandraji's younger brother Lakshman performed penance here. After his name this hanging bridge came to be known as Lakshman Jhoola. A grand temple of Lakshman is situated in the vicinity of the bridge. There are many temples nearby which are worth seeing. It is made over river Ganges to cross the river and is a landmark of Rishikesh. A similar bridge near Lakshman Jhula is Ram Jhula It is said that Lakshman crossed Ganges on jute ropes between the place where this bridge is built.
There is also another suspension bridge across the Ganga, which is known as Ram or Sivananda Jhula. Ram Jhula is located 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) north of Rishikesh at Muni Ki Reti. There are some of the Hindu ashrams and religious centers like "The Gita Bhawan", and "Swarg Ashram" located here. It is also a connecting bridge between Swargadham, Gita Bhawan and other temples with Sivananda ashram. Though similar in design, this bridge is bigger than Lakshman Jhula. This bridge constructed with the span of 450 feet (140 m) and above 59 feet (18 m) from summer water level.
This place is 12 kilometers away from Rishikesh on foot but by road it is at a distance of 38 kilometers. The legend is that after taking poison found as a result of churning of the ocean, God Shankar's throat turned blue and that is why the God Neelkanth was installed here. The devotees visit this place throughout the year but during the whole month of Shravan the temple is thronged by tourist and devotees.
Crossing Lakshman Jhula, the main temple you will see is Kailash Niketan temple. It is a 13-storey structure slightly different from regular temples. The temple has sculptures of all the gods and goddesses.
This temple of Goddess Durga is situated on a hill at a distance of 25 kilometers. On foot it is 5 kilometers away from Narendranagar township and at a distance 3 kilometers from the Hindolakhal bus stand. There is a road for jeep and taxi to reach the temple from this place. Panoramic views of the Rishikesh valley and the snow clad Himalayan peaks can be seen.
The Rajaji national park sprawls over an area of 820.42 sq. km along the foothills of Shivalik ranges. The Rajaji national park was established in the year 1983 by amalgamating three wildlife sanctuaries namely Rajaji, Motichur and Chilla. The Rajaji national park is rich in fossils, which include both its flora and fauna thus giving a lot of opportunities to wildlife and nature lovers.
People coming here apart from pilgrimage can also indulge in activities like trekking, rafting and yoga. Yoga is primarily a philosophical science, born out of man's need to fathom the meaning of existence. Patanjali, the father of yoga, states in the second sutra "Yoga is the cessation of consciousness." The ultimate aim of yoga is self-evolution. In ancient times, when people lived the yogic way, good health was the natural result of their lifestyle. But, as health deteriorated with man's changing values, yoga gained ground in its use as therapy. Rishikesh, being the yoga capital of the country there are number of yoga centers teaching yoga. All most all the tourist coming here benefit by these yoga training centers.
It is quite interesting to shop in Rishikesh for its uniqueness. Rishikesh is noted for its Shekhawati paintings and miniatures, which are available in the "Open Air Art Gallery. The other items in the shopping list includes carved wooden furniture, semi-precious stones, astrological stones, Ayurvedic medicine, medicinal plants, woolens, and junk jewelery. Some of the few reliable shops in Rishikesh are government approved handloom shop, khadi bhandar, Garhwal wool and craft shop.
To commute within Rishikesh there are tongas, taxis and rickshaws available. Whereas from other cities and states buses are operated by state transport corporations and private operators (deluxe, semi deluxe coaches) are available for Rishikesh. Apart from that one can also hire private vehicles to get there.
