"A fabulous yoga retreat centre in Rishikesh"
The Shiva Tattva yoga school itself is beautifully situated near a small waterfall above the town and close to the forest. I could hear the sound of the waterfall from my bedroom - as well as birds and crickets singing.
The manager and home team are all super-friendly and helpful.
The accommodation is simple and comfortable - perfect for a retreat.
The food was tasty, healthy, fresh and very thoughtfully prepared vegetarian food.
Best of all for me though was the standard of the teaching at Shiva Tattva - which was really superb from all of the teachers.
There are many places in the vicinity for Ayurvedic massage and treatments, which I enjoyed too.
A big thank you to Anuj and the team - much appreciated!

I'm very happy I did the course and I really enjoyed it. The yoga classes were super and just what I wantend. I was a little bit less interested in the theory classes but that was just me. The hotel was good for local standards but not really to western standards. I still enjoyed it and took it as a part of the experience. The food in the hotel was good but could use a little more variation. Overall a good experience and I'm very happy I did it.I went to this yoga retreat in July 2014.
