Pandit Sachitanand, the founder of Shiv Siddh Yog Peeth was born in the Himalayas, in a village named Likhwar Gaon, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. He was born in a Brahmin family and brought up in very spiritual environment learning from his grandfather. He started learning yoga as a young boy and was a lot focused towards the welfare of people. So he decided to go to the capital of yoga, Rishikesh. In his young ages, he learned yoga from various Gurus continued deepening his practices so that he could do something for the society. He strongly believes the teachings of Shrimad Bhagwad Gita.
Kushal Bisht
Yoga Alliance RYT 200 (Yoga)
Kushal is a highly experienced yoga anatomy and physiology teacher who has been teaching for a couple of years incorporating yoga and anatomy and physiology. He has a beautiful style of connecting the spiritual science with the modern science as for a person it is very important to know one's body structures to get deeper to their consciousness so this is his approach to making easier this journey of people. Professionally, he is Masters in Yogic Sciences and while doing the degree only he got selected by his Gurus to serve Indian Army as a yoga trainer in Raiwala Cantt, Dehradun for one year.
Mahesh Bhatt
Yogi Mahesh Bhatt is an experienced yoga philosophy teacher who has a different and effective style of delivering his knowledge to others. During his studies, he was two times gold medalist in P.G. Diploma (yogic science) and in his Masters in yogic science as well. He has experience of teaching in schools and colleges in workshops also. He also contributed his services overseas doing various workshops. His work experience is a guide to his personality that he is highly skilled and dedicated to his work.
Vinay Panesar
If you are looking for who not only teach you asanas but actually have skills to take out of your best from you, Yogi Vinay Panesar is one of those gems, which Rishikesh has. Born and brought up in Rishikesh, Vinay was very much passionate for his yogic practice. He was always a teacher in sharing his knowledge of asanas to his friends and family, and which turned him to a successful teacher. Vinay has a strong base in Hatha yoga and now specialized in teaching Vinyasa yoga.
Devendra Dhaundiyal
Devendra is a multi-style yoga trainer who has a great approach towards his teachings. He has a strong base in Hatha yoga as he is a trained Hatha yoga teacher. Professionally he has done certificate and diploma courses in Yogic Sciences and now he has completed his Masters in Yogic Sciences as well. Apart from being a trained Hatha yoga teacher, he is also well in Ashtanga-Vinyasa flow. His variety of this multi-style teaching makes him unique. He has a long-term experience of training people and giving them the exact foundation in their practices.

Vinayak Kaurwar founder of scientific yoga school,and experienced Patanjali yog sutra And philosophy teacher .Vinayak Kaurwar ji also known as "Shree" to friends and clients, has studied with several masters in the light of Sanskrit scriptures of Yoga and Ayurveda. Born in Nagpur, India, Shree has been practicing yoga since the age of five. His spiritual journey has brought him as a disciple to several spiritual masters, one of whom lives deep in Tadoba National Park in the holy forest of Ramdegi. Additionally, he has been conducting research on longevity for the past 22 years

All meals are served in the restaurant with beautiful view of Ganga River and Himalayas. Shiv Siddh Yog Peeth serve very light organic (Satvic) food to the students and all retreat participants. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are light but nutritious, vegan meals. Please inform them about any dietary requirements and food allergies you might have, they will be happy to accommodate all your needs.

How to get there

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Jolly Grant Airport (DED). Transfer from and to the airport is available upon request.

Arrival by train

If you fly to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), from Delhi, you may take a train until Rishikesh Railway Station.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
