Shir Shemesh is certified as 200-hour Sivananda yoga teacher, Dharma Yoga teacher 500 and 800 hours, and E-RYT 500-hour Yoga Alliance registered teacher with over 2,500 hours and over 8 years of teaching experience. He holds a master's degree in medieval music and has completed Ayurveda course with Dr. Ahrun Sharma in Dharmasala and a Thai yoga massage course with the Sunshine Network. He has been teaching in various 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teachers training courses: anatomy, philosophy, asana, pranayama, mantras and chanting, sound healing, teaching methodology, Tantra Kundalini, and more.
Mariella is an inspiring yoga teacher as well as a breath-work facilitator. She brings her deep knowledge of nutrition and various massage disciplines to the rich retreat content they are offering worldwide. Mariella did 200 and 300 hours yoga teacher training courses, and teaching/practicing massage worldwide. She also studied Ayurveda, Thai Massage, Transformational breathwork, and she is a jewelry artist.

Shir and Mariella are inspiring teachers that went through a lot of effort to meet everyones needs in terms of yoga practice, pranayama and food. They prepared very tasty, nourishing and creative Ayurvedic meals and snacks and where very open to answer many questions regarding the different topics in Ayurveda. The location of the retreat was very peaceful, set in midst of the black forrest with no other houses around. In summary the retreat was a very replenishing experience that I gave me lots of peace and new energy :)

"best retreat ever"
I loved Shir and Mariella, their harmony, their attitude, their love for what they do and also for us the participants. They are absolutely fabulous instructors and made us feel cared about. Their beautiful and relaxing voices, the instruments they played, and the music and chanting made this retreat so special. I loved the content of the program (dharma yoga, yin yoga, yoga nidra, pranayama, massage sessions), the schedule, the level of the yoga (challenging but also suitable to different levels). I found the breathing exercises and the massage lessons extremely helpful. The participants were lovely. I loved everything basically. It turned out to be much better than what I had expected. I can't wait to have another retreat with them.
