Celebrate summer solstice at the hot springs. Soak in the healing waters, and connect to your true nature. Deepen your yoga practice, experience the power of daily mediation, and take part in a reiki circle with hands-on healing. Find solace and experience nature, harmony, and yoga.
The accommodation provided is on single, shared, or dorm basis. Note that if you are taking a shared room, you must bring someone with you, as the beds are only king or queen sized. One of the dorm rooms holds 5 single beds, the other holds 3 people with a bunk bed and a double bed. Attendees who wish to camp may bring their own tents for very basic camping.
The Temple Dome area is the main pool area and consists of the hot pool (105 to 110 degrees) which is enclosed in a large geodesic dome, featuring stained glass and skylights. Complemented by 2 cold plunges this pool is also sand bottomed, with mosaic tile sides. Outside the dome, the large warm pool (98 to 100 degrees) is complemented by a large sundeck.
The Meditation pool (98 to 100 degrees) is outdoors, surrounded by rock tile. In this faux natural pool, you will step down rock steps into a sand bottomed delight. This seasonal hot pool is ideal for enjoying the star-studded skies.
The Phoenix baths (85 to 90 degrees) are seasonal pools inside private rooms, and the warm spring water is drained and refilled between users. The Phoenix baths also house the newly remodeled spa area.

Christie Pitko started Shifting and Inspired to help people heal through yoga and Reiki. She is a registered yoga teacher with over 500 hours of training and over 1,200 hours of teaching experience. Christie teaches in studios and corporate office all over the San Francisco bay area, including LinkedIn and Salesforce. She was also the Reiki master at the Las Vegas Recovery Center for over 4 years, helping substance abuse patients. She has over 1,700 hours of hands-on Reiki experience and has taught Reiki since 2010. Christie is passionate about the power of daily meditation.
The retreat will take place at Sierra Hot Springs, Sierraville, California.
The 6 delicious meals provided are vegetarian and made with local ingredients when available. You may make special requests such as vegan and gluten-free meals ahead of time.
