Join 20 like-hearted women for a long weekend of yoga, radical self-care, female energy, and joyful connection. During this retreat, you could find some time out to reconnect, re-fill, and rekindle your own sense of inner peace. She Recovers will also help you find the steps into a fuller, more connected, and brighter version of yourself through yoga practices. The retreat fills up really fast so don’t hesitate if you want to join this promising retreat!

During this yoga retreat, you will be staying at Stowel Lake Farm, an organic farm on Saltspring Island. You may choose to stay in a single room, shared double room, or camp outside with your own tent.
During this retreat, She Recovers will create a sacred, restorative space for healing and practicing radical self-care through daily Hatha yoga sessions at sunrise and sunset with Taryn Strong as your yoga instructor. You don't have to worry about your yoga skill because She Recovers welcomes everyone with various yoga skill ranging from beginner to advanced yogis. You will also experience a moonlight celebration and warm evening sharing circles with other participants.
Out of respect for women recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, this is a sober women's retreat and no drugs or alcohol will be allowed.
Taryn is the daughter of Dawn, the founder of She Recovers. She completed her 300-hour yoga teaching training program in her hometown of Victoria, British Columbia, in 2007 after falling in love with yogic philosophies and the power of transformation through the mind, body, and spirit connection. Taryn received her “Yoga of Recovery” certification at Sivananda Ashram Yoga Farm and “Yoga for Trauma” certification in 2014. She has developed a unique “Yoga for Recovery” program which integrates yoga and meditation with spirituality and recovery principles from a wide variety of recovery pathways.
This retreat will take place on Saltspring Island just half an hour by ferry from Victoria in British Columbia, Canada.
She Recovers will serve you 3 healthy gourmet meals per day. They serve vegetarian and gluten-free food. However, if you have other dietary requests, they can also be catered for.
