"Perfect authentic spiritual retreat for foreigners"
There are so many good things I can say about the ashram. The best part is its run by a foreign woman who has spent many years educated in India. She speaks English as her mother tongue but is fluent in Hindi and has an excellent relationship with the locals. The ashram supports local women's projects and village cleanup efforts and also connects with other ashram and temples to provide a more enriched experience with plenty of options. Most of the staff was Indian and readily able to help and very friendly in comparison to other local Indians. Most of the guests and volunteers were foreigners with varied backgrounds which made the experience feel really easy to fall into. Within the week I was picking up even the more complicated mantras and on the day I left some newcomers said "wow maybe we'll be like you after a week as well". It's so easy to feel like home there. Huge shout out to Carl who was my teacher for the beginner yoga nidra class.

I stayed in the ashram 1 week. It was an amazing experience. The yoga teachers were very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to give us the best experience. The food is good as it's prepared with local ingredients.

"Sehr schöner Ort"
Das Essen war super lecker und die Mitarbeiter waren alle mega lieb. Ich war die Woche davor schon da und sehr zufrieden. Ich habe die Zeit dort sehr genossen. Süsse Zimmer und eine schöne Atmosphäre. Eine grosse Bibliothek stand zur Verfügung. Echt top.
