Kundalini yoga
Kundalini yoga is an ancient practice that aims to purify and activate the life force energy in the body known as Prana. Kundalini yoga combines tantra, mantra, and prana teachings. Tra means "tool" and Tan means "body". Tantra is a tool for the body while Mantra means the tool for the mind. Kundalini yoga will help you tune in for the day and purify your body to another level.

Isabelle loves sharing the spirit of yoga and teaching about the chakras. Following the teachings of her Himalayan guru Naveen Ji who trained her in an ancient practice Kundalini yoga that combines powerful breathwork, tantra, and mantras, she is now sharing it with the world.
Retreat location
Shambala Retreats is located on a mountain, a two-minute walk from Playa Ostional, a beach dedicated to the protection of Sea Turtles and famous for its monthly turtle arrivals. It is a vibrant beach with a wide variety of birds and wildlife where you can swim, meditate, walk, and even surf if you like. Ostional is an authentic Costa Rican village, seven kilometers from the renowned beach-town Nosara. There is a mini-market, a restaurant, and a bar, five minutes walk from the center.

Arrival by bus
There are daily buses from Terminal 7 to 9 San Jose from San Jose to Nosara. It costs approximately 10 USD per ticket. If you plan on taking the bus, please tell Shambala Retreats so they can coordinate your arrival.
Driving directions from Nosara
- Turn left at the Rindo Mas supermarket on the dirt road.
- Pass the Rasta Bridge of Rio Nosara.
- Turn right after the bridge and follow the road.
- At the end of the road, turn left and continue to follow the road for 4 kilometers.
- Find Ostional Turtle Lodge.
- From there, in front of the lodge, there is a road that goes up to where you will see a very small construction with a sombrero-like roof.
- Go up that road and you have arrived.
