"Unforgettable food and experience"
From the moment I decided to come to Belize and participate in this yoga retreat Niss was always there to help me along the way. Any questions I emailed she would get back to me within the same day. She arranged a taxi for me at the airport which was really helpful when getting off the plane. When you arrive on the property you will be overwhelmed with its natural beauty. The rooms and bathroom were well kept and cleaned daily. The overall experience was beyond my expectations. I am not Vegan and it is a Vegan retreat so I went in open minded about the types of meals that would be provided. AMAZING!!!! That is the only word I would use to describe the food. Every dish was made with love and fresh produce. She has a true passion for cooking and it shows! From the juices to the homemade pesto sauce the food was one of the most memorable and enjoyable parts about this retreat. The yoga was also phenomenal and was tailored to your needs. It was extremely personal and not one class was the same! The best part is the yoga studio and how you feel like you are in the middle of a tropical jungle doing yoga with nature (which you are!) I liked how they organized one class in the morning and one in the evening. This left plenty of time in the afternoon for sightseeing. I did want to explore San Pedro so Niss was kind enough to pick me up and drop me off at the dock. She packed me with food for the day which was thoughtful and assisted me in getting the correct ticket.

"Magical Environment "
Corozal is truly a magical and beautiful place. The environment at serenity retreats is wonderful from the food to the cabanas in which I slept. I ate delicious vegan meals, meditated in a quiet environment at a private beach, and came home with more clarity then I arrived with. I recommend this place to anybody wanting to experience a close connection to nature and the elements.
This was my second time visiting Corozal. Trying to escape the cold winters of Canada for 10days. The grounds and surroundings are so lush and vibrant here. Also very peaceful and relaxing setting. The rooms are so cozy and i felt right at home. I absolutely fell in love with the sounds of the jungle at night and all the different birds chirpping in the morning. There is a lagoon on property that you can swim in. Also bikes are provided to take a leisure ride down to the waterfront (approx 10 mins)to enjoy a day at the beach. Which i did often to soak up that sun. Town is only 3miles away and Niss was more than happy to take time from her busy schedule to give me a tour and show me around. The mosquitoes are a bit heavy at dusk and dawn so bring some good repellant. Niss was a great hostess and helped any way she could to make my trip exceed any expectations. Such a wonderful stay, I will definitely be back to stay here again and again. I absolutely loved this trip and can't wait to go back!!
