Maldives is made up of about 1190 islands, arranged by nature into 26 groups of coral clusters, known as atolls. These are scattered over a vast area, of more than 90,000 square kilometers which straddle the equator. The beauty that you see above the water is all based completely on coral. The atolls ring-shaped reef structure provides a perfect natural defense against wind and wave action.

Each of the islands is often themed by white finely powdered beaches surrounding an area of lush emerald green vegetation. Many islands have naturally formed outer reefs which in turn, create an area of shallow warmer water. These lagoons have a very a distinctive turquoise colour and as they merge with the deeper blue waters, the perfection of Maldive’s beauty is complete.

The location of Malé is perfect for a capital city, being almost in the center of the republic, on the east side of Kaafu atoll. Malé is the commercial and political hub of Maldives and is home to all government ministries, as well as to the large companies, banks, communications, and the key institutions that control the nation’s economic and social life.

With an area of just over 1.77 square kilometers, it is the busiest and the most populous island in the archipelago and is home to nearly 30% of the republics population. The change within Malé is never ending and construction fills every available space. It's a city bursting at the seams to the point that a new man-made island is being developed north of Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (MLE) for the residential expansion of the capital.

During this holiday, you will be served daily breakfast, lunch buffet, and dinner. You will savor “Sunday Roast”, “Surf and Turf”, “Mexican Fiesta”, and “Farewell Asian Night” dinners at Al Fresco Restaurant.
