Join Scott Moore for an unforgettable, luxury yoga retreat at a beautiful châteaux located in the lush, rolling vineyards of the Bordeaux region in south western France. Look forward to gathering together and connecting your body, mind, and spirit as you practice savoring this exquisite life through presence!
The château is a restored work of art with many stories to tell. Its history dates back to 1580 when Henry IV ceded the land to the Gastebois family. For nearly 400 years, this châteaux has remained with this family and has housed royalty, dignitaries, and even served as a hideout for allied forces during WWII. Artisans who designed parts of Versailles also built parts of this château. The château's current owners purchased it in 1999 and used local artisans to restore it to its deserved splendor. Many of the elements of the château are original.
Each room is stunningly beautiful and comfortable. You’ll love the high thread-count Egyptian cotton linens, wireless speaker, armoire, chest of drawers, writing desk, and comfy chairs for reading. By construction, the temperature inside each room stays very comfortable during the summer. All bathrooms are fitted with blow dryers, high quality bath towels, and luxury soap. Pool towels are also provided. Rooms are available as single or shared occupancy.

You will arrive at the immaculately-restored Château de Bardouly where you will be warmly greeted with refreshing champagne or cucumber-mint water.
A private transport will take you back to the airport on the morning of June 19. By the end the six days together, you’ll feel invigorated, alive, nourished, and ready to savor the rest of your life.
The intention for this retreat is to awaken body, mind, and spirit in this breath-taking environment as you practice opening your awareness to your senses by living in the moment and savoring life. This retreat will remind you to pause and practice loving your life.

Scott Moore is passionate about helping you feel alive, grounded, and purposeful through the art and practice of yoga and meditation. He has spent the past 15 years studying, practicing, and teaching yoga and meditation. He had the pleasure of teaching everyone from rock stars to recovering addicts, young to old people, ultra-athletes to ultra-stressed out ones, and he has learned one essential fact: everyone has an extraordinary life to live and everyone's path to wellness is unique.
The package includes three daily gourmet meals, including European-style continental breakfast and three-course plated lunch and dinner, as well as excursion to a wine-tasting at the world-renowned Saint-Émilion and an in-house wine-tasting with a sommelier.
Scott Moore speaks fluent French, have visited Paris several times, and would be thrilled to share a little of his love of Paris with you. For those who are interested, he's offering a three-day pre-treat (June 10 to 12), where he’ll be personally leading walking tours of his favorite haunts of Paris. You can take a short flight or train ride to Bordeaux on the 13.
You’ll love the storybook neighborhoods, the quaint cafés and bistros, and the world-famous museums and sites. He can’t wait for you to bite into the best baguette in Paris, thumb books at the bookstore where Earnest Hemingway, James Joyce, and Gertrude Stein used to visit, and explore the streets built by the Knights Templar. You can even do some yoga in the inimitable Tuileries Gardens.
These few days are outside of the tuition of the retreat but could act as a marvelous prelude for anybody who would be interested in falling in love with one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
You’ll be responsible for your own food and lodgings and entrance into museums, but for a reasonable price, Scott Moore will create a daily schedule and tour that serve as a wonderful addition to anyone interested in a personal tour to Paris.
This will be a wonderful prélude to an already incredible retreat. He’d love nothing more than to personally guide you through one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
You can easily take a flight or train to Bordeaux from Paris. Both cost almost the same. There are easy shuttles from the Bordeaux train station to the Bordeaux airport.
