About the Teacher Training Course

Gather on the shores of Costa Rica for this incredible 300-hour yoga teacher training offering! Expand the levels of consciousness within the greater whole and access the yogic view on the psyche along with intuitive wisdom that brings unity and peace to cultures and societies around the world!

In this 300-hour yoga teacher training, you will learn how to hold space for yourself and for diverse groups of people using the principles and tools of holistic yoga psychology. Through embodied movement, breathwork, and emotional release techniques explore what wants to be revealed here and now, while diving below the surface to access self-reflection and soul growth.

In this process, learn how to identify psychological barriers, limiting beliefs, and pain responses in the body. Become your own self-healer and assist others to release old patterns and bring light to the unconscious material so that you will be free to create and live your dream life.

In this unique course, you will explore various Medicine Wheel traditions coming from around the world while imparting the wisdom and power of working with the Animal, Earth, and Spirit realms as allies to teaching yoga and working with individuals.

Ultimately, each student will be empowered to connect to the medicine you are carrying and that has been carried through ancestral and homeland lineages. You will learn how to honor the sacred roots of the lands you call home alongside connecting deeply to both the Divine God Mother and Divine God Father.

Led by Mindi, Nadine, and Brandi along with other guest facilitators, in a safe and held container, this 300-hour yoga teacher training will guide each individual through a process of self-inquiry, healing, embodiment, and personal growth through holistic yoga psychology and social activist model for healing mind, body, and soul.

The philosophy of yoga and ancient texts will be explored to expand the scope of intuitive knowledge and wisdom with a large focus being on Book 3 and Book 4 of the Yoga Sutras.

Through a deep exploration into the “Clair” senses students will awaken innate wisdom and intuition to go beyond current facets of knowing. In this way, students will learn how to become a channel for leading intuitive yoga classes that are dynamic, flowing, and powerful.

Retreat location

Montezuma, Puntarenas Province

This program will take place in the town of Montezuma which is in the Puntarenas Province of Costa Rica.

About Montezuma

Montezuma is unique among beach destinations in Guanacaste and Nicoya. For years, this remote village and its surrounding beaches, forests, and waterfalls have enjoyed near-legendary status among backpackers, UFO seekers, hippie expatriates, and European travelers. Although it maintains its unique vibe, Montezuma has emerged as a great destination for all manner of travelers looking for a beach retreat surrounded by some stunning scenery.

Various cultural influences can be felt in the outstanding restaurants in the area. Active pursuits abound, from hiking in the Cabo Blanco Absolute Nature Reserve to horseback riding to a beach-side waterfall. The hotel itself is also within walking distance of a canopy (zip-line) tour of Butterfly Farm Gardens, and the delicious Cocina Clandestina restaurant.

As ever, it's a natural beauty, miles of almost abandoned beaches, rich wildlife, and jungle waterfalls that first made Montezuma famous, and they continue to make this one of the favorite beach towns in Costa Rica.
