Please note that, from June to mid of August, it is monsoon season in Kerala. The people who are looking for ayurvedic treatments, usually, prefer the monsoon season. This period is also considered as the off-season, due to less foreigners’ visits and to having most of the restaurants and accommodation facilities closed.
It is a good time to do indoor Ayurveda treatments, as it may rain a lot and the temperature is cooler, but in the same time, please keep in mind that many activities, like swimming, star gazing, trekking, biking, walking in the forest and others might become impossible to embark upon.
This retreat will be held at a sliver of a coastal state in India's deep south, Kerala. It is shaped by its layered landscape, which is almost 600 kilometers off the glorious Arabian Sea coast and beaches, with a languid network of glistening backwaters, the spice, and tea-covered hills of the Western Ghats. Just setting foot on this swathe of soul quenching and palm shaded green will slow your sub continental stride to a blissed-out amble. Kerala is a world away from the frenzy of elsewhere, as if India had passed through the looking glass and become an altogether more laid-back place.

The price of this retreat includes sativic or Ayurvedic food, served three times daily as meals throughout the program. No meat, fish, egg, alcohol, and other toxic items will be served.
During your free time, you can walk or rent a bicycle to explore the countryside, visit markets, botanical gardens, and local villages. You can also choose to rest, relax, read your favorite book, sun bathe, or surf at the nearby beach.
Please book your flight to arrive at Trivandrum International Airport (TRV). Transfer from and to the airport is included. School of Yoga Vidhya will pick you up from the airport.
