Michelle lives a life devoted to Yoga and spiritual evolution, she is dedicated to raising her own consciousness and hence that of those around her, understanding the inter-connectedness of all things. In her early years, she worked as a Contemporary dancer and then moved into teaching yoga after meeting her teacher, Clive Sheridan in 1999, who is following the lineages of Hatha Yoga, Tantra and Advaita Vedanta. Michelle has studied with many renowned teachers in a range of styles beginning with Jivamukti in NYC and then Astanga Vinyasa.

It is a 30-minute drive from the German border, 1 ½-hour from Italy, and 1-hour from Switzerland to the AlpenRetreat on the Tyrolean Fernpass.
Memmingen Airport (FMM-München West). Within a 1-hour 20-minute drive and Innsbruck Airport (INN) within a 50-minute drive, Munich Airport (MUC) a 2-hour drive. Airport pick-up and drop-off are possible (a fee will apply).
There are bus connections from the surrounding cities directly to Alpen Retreat.
There are 5 train stations within 30-minute drive: Lermoos, Ehrwald, Imst/Pitztal, Garmisch-Patenkirchen, and Reutte.
It is located on the Tyrolean Fernpass, in the north-west of Austria, close to the German border the AlpenRetreat is easily reached via the Fernpassstrasse B179 (E532).
At the top of the Fernpass (Fernpasshöhe) there is a petrol station named “Dolle”. Opposite it on the other side of the street is a roadside restaurant (Fernpaß Rast), a red building, and a big yellow building (the former Fernpass hotel). Follow the small street between the restaurant and the yellow house for about 200m and you have reached the AlpenRetreat.
